Perfectly. Two gentlement showed up on time and ready to work. They took their time and did a great job, pointing out any places that had stains that could not be removed. They moved furniture as needed, protected my furniture from moisture with plastic under the legs, tied back my curtains, and were very professional in every manner. I have never been more satisfied with a carpet cleaning company.

Called on a Saturday, planning to leave a message but to my delight, the phone was answered by the owner, Joe.  Set up a date for cleaning.  Joe and his associate, Alex arrived right on time.  Both very pleasant and professional.  Joe looked at our basement carpet (20 yrs. of 4 active kids followed by messy teens) and said that he could get it significantly cleaner so the cleaning commenced! They were very careful and considerate with their work and when the carpet was done, it looked BRAND NEW.  I'm not exaggerating in the least.  There was a huge stain from a king-sized bottle of dishwashing liquid that had been dropped sometime in the last 8 yrs...we were afraid to clean it ourselves b/c of the sudsing factor.....and the stain had become like a piece of furniture since it was so big and was there for so long....COMPLETELY GONE!  My husband and I took one look and our jaws hit the floor....we just could not believe it!  Every time we go down there, we do a double take b/c its like there is something missing. Yes, something really gross and embarrassing is missing and it looks/feels amazing! 
Once the carpets were beautiful, Joe and Alex cleaned a straw-colored fabric couch and the two matching oversized chairs.  My family must think these pieces are in the dining room, if you get the picture.  The arms are flat on the top so they are "perfect" for balancing a plate or glass.  Multiple stains and just dingy looking.  We have two Welsh Corgis that shed like a mother and a white cat who sheds almost as badly.  The animals like to lay next to/lean on the couch and chairs so there were dark areas from that as well. My husband was ready to get a new set of furniture because we figured there was no way to save this set.  WRONG.  Stains? Gone.  Dark patches?  Gone.  Even if we had only had the arms cleaned, I would be happy!  Having all three pieces look 90% better is hard to believe. However, Family is very sad since that room is now a food/drink free zone.  
Joe said they would do a good job but they did an AMAZING JOB!  Every aspect of the experience was top notch.  We were so impressed that we had them come back a few days ago and pick up two large area rugs for cleaning.   Neither has ever been cleaned and even though we vacuum them regularly, they still smell like our animals.  I am 100% confident that American Steemer will bring them back looking and smelling fantastic.  Next we will schedule having our kids bedroom carpets cleaned.
The price that we paid was very fair for the amount of time and effort that Joe and Alex put in on our job. They made sure that all of our concerns were addressed. They were very thorough and took the time to do the job right.  
In my experience, companies like American Steemer are a rarity.  Great work, fair price and true to their word.  I will certainly be recommending them to everyone I know.

It took them two-and-a-half hours to get the carpets cleaned. I think they're trustworthy, reliable and they do a good job. I think their price was okay.

The owner arrived with a helper at the agreed-upon time. They were polite and deferential at all times and accommodated our requests to cover our hardwood flooring so that no hoses would drag on it and scratch it.
We were impressed with the professionalism of this outfit. Uniforms, truck, and business supplies such as business cards and invoices were all professionally done.
We feel we received a terrific service for the money. That said, there was a 'special' going on at the time and we may not be able to get the same service for that price next time.
These men handled themselves in a friendly and cordial manner. Note, however, that this company employs several men and you may or may not get the same individuals that we did. The owner always tends to be the better of the bunch.

This was the second time I used American Steemer, and once again the service was exceptional. They were punctual, courteous, and professional. My carpet was well worn and severely stained (pet stains) but American Steemer did a great job of getting the stains out and restoring the look of my carpet.  I would definitely use them again.

I have used three other carpet cleaning services in the past five years. None of them had meet my standards. I signed up to angies list bc I wanted the job done right. I spent time reading reviews. Seemed they had the best overall positive experience. When I called they returned my call within five minutes. Man on phone was very polite. He gave me an estimate that seemed fair. They showed up on time and called me one hour before services rendered. When they showed up. I felt comfortable with them being in my home. Both where extremely polite and very informing. When they finished. I couldn't believe that my carpet looked new. I have three dogs and a toddler. The carpet I thought was ruined. I was so wrong. I highly recommend there services and will have them come back in six months. My wife was so shocked and pleased with the results. We gave them a tip,thats rare...

We contacted American Steemer because of their reviews. They gave us an immediate quote over the phone after asking pertinent questions and an appointment was set. The gentlemen that came out to do the work reviewed the problem areas with us before beginning the cleaning process. They explained the recurring stain problem and offered a permanent solution. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and the carpet came out beautiful! We have used two different companies prior to this company, but we will continue using American Steemer now and when we have the new flooring put in as well. They did a fantastic job!
