The crew showed up on time and began working . Work was going well until rain started. They continued to work in rain since there was no thunder/lightening involved.
After completion, we looked out and saw many long deep ruts in our side and front yard from their heavy machinery.
The removal of two of the pines left behind a really big and wide pile of pine mulch .
The removal of one tree pulled down 2 other trees that had been attached by large vines. These two trees were left heavily leaning over our shrubs in the corner of the yard. One small tree growing in our yard was knocked over.
When we saw the damage to the yard as they were finishing up, my husband called the owner to voice his concerns. The owner said he would come assess. One of the workers came to the door to say they were finished. When asked what they were going to do about the yard, he said "What about it?" When we pointed out the damage to the lawn, it was pretty much an
attitude of ", well, you live and learn. You could have stopped us." The owner came over later and there was no acceptance of
responsibility from him, either. He did say that after it dried, he would do something with the pile of mulch. Never saw him again.
We had to cut down the tops of the trees that were leaning over the shrubs, blocking our view exiting our drive. The trunks are still leaning until we find a way to cut those. The pine mulch we are having to move bit by bit.

Spotswood did a great job removing trees from my property. I had a HUGE pecan tree in the backyard that made me nervous but Jonathan and his crew all assured me they were confident and it wouldn't be a problem for them. I had 4 other large trees removed and had all the stumps ground. Their price was reasonable, they fit my job in within one week of receiving the quote and the crew of guys were great and very respectful of my property. They worked really hard and did a great job cleaning up. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Very professional, quality tree work. These people know their trees and will help you take care of yours. Very responsible and they left the work area much cleaner than it was when they got here.

They were extremely reasonable and they did a highly professional job. In our area, that is an $800-900 job, and they did it for much cheaper than that. They came back and checked on it. They were great. I think they did a great job. I was very happy.
