We hired Jack to do a job in May 2020. Unground pool with jacuzzi was what we paid for. I have nothing good to say about this company. His communication is awful because he doesn’t know how to communicate what he’s going to do or not going to do. He didn’t finish the job til January 2022 and didn’t even finish. The slide was not bolted down into the concrete. They just put screws in the holes and never anchored down so the slide can’t even be used because it’s a hazard. The timer on the pump messed up and he still has not returned our text messages or calls to fix anything. I would never ever buy or recommend anyone to buy a pool from this unprofessional person.

They weren't responseable for their subcontractors work , even tho they ( splash pool)supplied the material for the job. Every time we tried to get something done to fix the problemwe were told there was nothing wrong even tho we had another contractor come out and evaluate the situation and he assured us the work was very unacceptable. We also used this same company to clean our pool for a while before we realized the problems we had . The cleaning was sloppily done when it was done, we had to let them go after contacting them to try to improve the work and we were only told that they were performing as required , when I had actually stood inside my house and watched , so , I know that it wasn't .

Had an issue with a leak through my spa heater. Had already gotten a quote from the guy who installed the pool to the tune of $2,000 to replace the heater unit completely. Splash went out and was able to fix the leak for just the cost of a service call.

I had an excellent experience dealing with them. We have it rebuilt and upgraded. I had new lights put in it and had new coating put around it so it was a pretty big extensive task and they did a really good job. Our pump shut down and he literally came over on a holiday on a Saturday and he did it by himself. They got in and got out and go the job done very quickly and very satisfactory. We didn't have any problem with the lights or anything even on days where it would day. They were very functional and I don't have anything bad to say about them, I really can't think of anything.

Jack the owner was present everyday of the construction. He did a lot of the work himself because he said he takes pride in his work. The pool turned out fantastic without any problems. We are enjoying our pool to the fullest extent. Their personnel are very helpful and their payment system is modern.
The only thing negative is that their monthly service is a little costly and with the extra cost of chemicals.
I would recommend Splash Pools and Spas for anyone who wishes a beautiful swimming pool for their home.

Initially took several calls/days to arrange an appointment for the initial estimate of the repairs. Once the estimate was completed, Jack set a schedule to start work two weeks later dependent on completion of another job he was doing. Weather pushed the schedule to three weeks, but it worked out with the delay in getting the coping and tile for the pool. Our initial choice of tile was out of stock and required special order of something close to the color and design. Jack started demolition of the old coping and tile the last week of April. Demolition and installation of the coping was completed the week of 6 May. Installation of the new tile was to start on 13 May, but we had a last minute change and Jack quickly exchanged the tile for another that was better suited to our color scheme, delaying the installation a couple days. Jack had told me that the crew to apply the new gunnite would arrive on Sunday, 19 May. To our surprise, they arrived Saturday, 18 May to complete the gunnite and start filling the pool with water. Jack came by on Monday to complete the final repairs and installation of the salt system and started the pump. When I came home from work on Wednesday, I added chemicals per Jack's instructions and decided to clean out the pump strainer in the process. When I tried to restart the pump, I was unable to get the pump to prime and found a broken collar on the old valve to the skimmer system. The next morning (Thursday), I called Jack about the situation and he was already into another job and unable to come make any immediate repairs. I was finally able to isolate the skimmer line the next day (Friday) and get enough suction from the main drain to keep the pool system circulating until Jack could come back to make the necessary repair. He came by Saturday and quickly changed out the broken valve, making the system more air tight than I had ever seen it operate. Jack stands by his work and is very busy. But, I could not have made a better choice for the job. I had called a couple other companies and the response negligible to say the least. Jack is fair in price and professional in execution ot the work. The only other advice I can add is to make sure you go over the entire system and don't hold back any questions about what needs to be done. I should have recognized that the other valve was old and brittle and needed to be replaced which would have prevented the return trip for an additional repair.

Splash Pools recently completed the installation of our inground pool in Fairhope. They did an excellent job from the process of quoting the pool, construction, and then training on how to maintain it. Jack and Debbie were awesome to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to put a swimming pool in.
