Chris Francis is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist (#SO-6157B) and has ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, and is also licensed in all four horticultural categories for the state of Alabama: Tree Surgery, Landscape Design, Landscape Contractor, and Pest Control. He is also a Certified Landscape Professional by ALNLA and a Certified Urban Forester by AUFA. We are fully insured, licensed, bonded, and have workers compensation.

"I am sorry for your negative experience. The line locate is required before digging, and we requested the line locate in a timely fashion in accordance with the law. Unfortunately, the line locators only mark water lines to the meter (not all the way to your house). We try our best not to hit them, but occasionally it does happen; we did rectify the situation and flushed your system. You were not charged for the additional time on site. Although it was a shock to find out late in the day that we had to be finished by sundown for religious reasons. I respect all religions, but that would have been nice to know in advance. The vinyl exposed is the root barrier you had us install. I did receive your call about the settling, and I scheduled someone to add sand to the settled area. I will have to go back in our system to see if that was done. It is possible it fell through the cracks... and for that, I apologize. I will gladly schedule to have someone come back out, or I can do it personally."

They called Tuesday, March 3, and said they had an opening and would like to come the next day. I agreed.
They arrived exactly at the time they said they would and the work began. Chris, his father Mike, and six gentlemen went to work. It was like watching a beehive in process. I saw truck after truck after truck of debris being removed. The whole process took 8+ hours and the results were beyond my wildest expectations. With all of the work that was done, the yard was left spotless. I couldn't have been more pleased. The trees didn't look "scalped." They just looked healthy and "refreshed!"
During the day I would walk around and thanked the guys for the work they were doing. One gentleman answered: "Thank you for the work." It was a "WIN-WIN" project. I got a really good feeling early on that this was going to be pleasant experience and, it was. I've walked around the property three times today and it really looks wonderful.

Chris contacted me ahead of schedule time to update me on schedule status - beginning of work was delayed a day due to the crew finishing previous job; I was kept informed. Chris and the crew were very friendly and professional. Chris obtained permission from neighbors for access to yard to remove cut limbs, and for parking of vehicles. The crew arrived promptly each morning and began work immediately. Very efficient and hard-working crew with good attitudes. They had to come back to finish the job on Christmas Eve due to rain delays earlier in week. Replaced everything they had moved, including re-attaching a pvc water line and re-planting a rose bush. Cleaned up yard as much as possible (it was very muddy due to rain), filled in ruts from dozer. Chris also offered to send someone out later to pressure wash the driveway, if needed, to remove mud stains. I would definitely recommend Chris and his crew for any tree care or removal.

I can honestly say that they exceeded my expectations! The tree even looks healthier! The team was punctual starting early in the morning, working consistently, and did a excellent job of cleaning up the yard and driveway. Overall, very professional job. Will definitely use again if the need arises!

I met Chris at the Daphne Home Show and was impressed with his credentials. I had a little trouble getting in touch with him but once I did and he came out I realize that someone with such credentials and knowledge was worth the wait. I'm from Illinois so many of the trees and scrubs in my yard I'm unfamiliar with. Chris took the time to educate me of the species and care of almost everything in my yard. The very next day he called me back with info on something he wanted to verify for me. I'm planning on having him take a tree down and do some trimmings of other trees.

He came with 3-4 trucks and about 10 men. They got so much work done in one day. They clean up after themselves.
I have used him for tree service and landscaping service when he was doing that. I was very sad when he told me that he was no longer doing the landscaping because he has been so great to work with!

The work took about three days. Chris or Mike (the business owners) were on site most of the time and their crew cut everything they said they would for the price quoted. Branches were lowered slowly by ropes, to avoid damaging our house, breaking mature shrubbery below, or rutting the lawn. Before departing they cleaned up everything and left the grounds as if they were never there.
Two weeks after the job was complete, we noticed a dead branch at the top of a tree, which was hard to see, that the men had missed. The following day, they arrived in a bucket truck and removed it. In sum, we couldn't be more pleased.
I've used several different tree companies in the past. Some were slightly less expensive but left me with major headaches. These guys were the best.
