We want to help those who feel that a natural burial is a viable option for honoring the dead, healing the living, and inviting in the divine. We want to use burial as a means of acquiring, restoring, and stewarding natural areas. We want to help families through this trying time by reducing the cost of the burial as much as possible while also protecting the environment and our natural surroundings. According to the National Funeral Directors Association, the average cost of a traditional funeral is $6,500 plus cemetery costs. A green burial can be significantly less costly – ours start at only $2,495.

An AP story reveals that the Green Burial Council "now counts more than 300 approved providers in 40 states, while only a dozen existed as recently as the beginning of 2008."
