L & L Energy Solutions is the Alabama Distributor for Serious Windows energy efficient Quantum2 windows &doors and STEP Warmfloor radiant floor heat, but I am also working for Marcas Systems, Inc. doing energy & environmental consulting. Quantum2 windows feature heat mirror film technology, foam filled vinyl frames and the highest R-values available. STEP Warmfloor is the only low-voltage, self-regulating, maintenance free radiant floor heat available. Marcas Systems partners with the architect, builder, home or business owner alike and offers solutions to high heating & cooling costs and mold & mildew issues. Basically we sell lower electric bills and fresh air!

Requested quotes on windows from several companies in Jan. and Feb. 2010. Reviewed quotes provided and looked at most in person via saleman demos, showroom displays, home shows, etc. Also, reviewed all product info that was available such as brochures and websites. We liked the Serious Windows best (on paper). So, we scheduled a time for Steve Lees to come by and show us the window's features and discuss details of the job to be performed. Steve demonstrated all the features of the windows, and he did a good job of answering all of our questions in a straight-forward, low-pressure manner. We ordered new windows on 4/30/2010. Final measurements were made on 5/6 by the contractor that Steve recommended. We ended-up using them to do the window installation and they did a great job. Windows were installed on 5/25-5/27. All the windows work great, look great, and they are very efficient (compare whole window R-values and NFRC rating labels).
