We have had two experiences with this company. Last year we had a slab poured and Eagle sent an experienced driver who ensured that the job went smoothly. During the most recent experience, the company again quoted us a reasonable price and prompt date for delivery. However, the driver of the concrete truck did not take into consideration the wet land due to recent rains nor the sloped terrain of our property. He just drove down to the area of the pour despite our repeated attempts to direct him so that he would not get stuck. Our efforts were in vain and he buried the truck. Luckily we happened to own a backhoe because we ended up using it to unload the truck and fill the footer. The driver did help with this portion of the job by assisting us with spreading the concrete. Our backhoe was also utilized to pull the truck about 75 yards up an incline leaving deep ruts throughout our yard. To add insult to injury, we were charged an additional fee for "standing" because the company only allots and hour for each job. The office manager quipped that it was "better than us having to pay for a wrecker!" Yes, if we had not pulled him out WE would have had to incur the cost of a wrecker. This was news to us--we were not aware that we were responsible if their driver got stuck. In summary, Eagle may have fair prices and prompt delivery, but you better hope that they send a driver that knows what he is doing or one that will at least get out and examine the condition of the ground before they drive across it.
