Pete's Foundation & Home Improvement

We waited for 3 months for him to do our project. Left his worker to do do most of the job so he could get some repairs on his truck. He was involved in the work maybe a third of the project. Left early one day so he could go to his grandsons baseball game. Tracked dirt inside multiple times. Asked to leave his trailer in our driveway for the weekend and did not come back to get it. Had to call him to come get it and then he acted like I was incoveniencing him. Total the trailer was there for a week (and in the way). The work that was done was good work. Happy with the outcome of the foundation. Not happy with the way he operates.

It went great.  Pete is one of these rare people that you don't run into very often.  He is as honest as the day is long and he treats your home as though it is his own.  I was very impressed with his knowledge of foundations and was even more impressed with his work ethic and integrety.  The world needs more Pete Alcocers, and to be honest, based on the amount of work that Pete did and the area where the work was performed (in the crawl space beneath my house), I can't believe he did not charge me twice the price for the job,
After you meet Pete Alcocer you cannot help but think what a good human being he is.  Out of all the contractors I have worked with over the years (I am 60), Pete is without a doubt the most impressive - he is the salt of the earth.  He did everything he said he was going to do and then some, all at the price quoted.
It is good to know that people like Pete still exist and and I consider myself a better person having met and worked with him.  Although it's hard not to get carried away with Pete's integrety, I should also be clear to point out that he knows what he's doing.  Pete has been leveling homes for over 30 years and is very knowledgeable of the work he performs.

Called Pete total 5 times, he came by to give an estimate of the repair to my floor. afterward, was suppose to call me back with the estimate. Never did call back! called him 3 more times , with excuses. now I am in limbo with no work done after almost 5 weeks in waiting !

Only Do I can say is call Pete first.

The job went well they started work on November 6 and finished on November 9. They installed 3 vents in front of the home. They added 100 feet of sill using 4x6 treated material. They built 20 piers using 4x6x16 pier pads for footer. they replaced a 6x6 seal on outer wall of the bath room. They replaced 12 joist using 2x8 material. They cleaned up everything at the end of their work. All of this work was done in an excellent manner.

He was professional, courteous, helpful, polite. and friendly as were his workers.
