 + -1 moreI called Dr. Nelson on the first Friday in September because my right leg was very swollen. He told me to come in after lunch and had a test run that detected a blood clot in the upper right leg. He ordered an injection to be given before I even left the hospital. Then he started treatments to be done in my home with home health. If he had not insisted on having that test run that day, I know I might not be here now.
Description of Work: Dr. Nelson is my primary doctor. I usually see him every 3 months unless The situation changes and I need to see him sooner than the scheduled 3 months.

 + 0 moreIt was great overall The experience left me knowing that I was in good hands. And if I had any problems or reservations about the treatment or solution, I knew I could express my concerns to him.
Description of Work: This day was not my regular appointment day. I was worked in with others who had an appointment. The wait time wa shorter than I expected though. I had a lump on my right elbow that concerned me. It did not hurt at all. Just wanted to make sure it was not anything serious with every thing else I had going on. He examined me, asked questions, made suggestions of treatment. He wrote me a prescription and went over how to do the medicine. We also discussed other options of treatmnts for other aliments. He took his time and made sure I as satisfied with his suggestions, and listened to my suggestions if I had any different from his.
