Bill Gandy came to our home for a home inspection. He spent about 1.5 hours. His inspection report included 1 line items and a few checkboxes. He was irritated when we would ask him questions and not friendly. He claimed that he viewed our attic. Luckily we had a mold inspector come to our house who incidentally noticed that there was significant damage to our roof - to the extent that some roofers recommended replacement and we ended up having it repaired. The damage was so obvious that I noted it within 15 seconds of walking into the attic. When we emailed Gandy about this, he did not apologize or offer an explanation. Using him as an inspector was the worst part of purchasing our home.

Went very well, learned some things and report was very detailed. Very Friendly.

He looked at every component of the house and gave us information on every detail. He presented everything in a straightforward, "just the facts" type attitude. When we asked for his personal opinion he also gave that. Anything can be corrected. We loved the house and it did have some issues. He covered all the possible solutions and costs in a calm and reassuring manner. I felt like he was the grandpa that everyone wants that knows how to fix anything.
We proceeded with the process being informed and optimistic about the possibilities. We love our house and thank Bill Gandy for helping us with the process.

Inspector was adequate. I was hoping for a more aggressive inspector and a more thorough inspection.
