Price Construction and Roofing

It was a great experience working with Phillip. While doing roof repairs, he saw that something on the chimney needed to be fixed. He found the person to do it and set up the time for it to be done. He took care of it all. I will definitely use him again.

Phillip Price came highly recommended, and I see why.  He returned my calls promptly and was consistently on-time - all things that matter a great deal to me.  He's honest and reliable and he does what he says he will do.  

While taking a look at a leaking section on my roof with very challenging access issues, he noticed several instances of hail damage and strongly suggested that I contact my insurance company for an inspection.  My insurance company quickly authorized total roof replacement, and Phillip arranged to get it done in short order, including the repair and re-routing of the water that caused the initial leak.  My roof is large, high, and steep, and his crews did good work.  Phillip went the extra mile in designing and installing a new solution to handle the large volume of draining water that caused my leak, and he worked to ensure that the repair would last.  Then he made sure things were thoroughly cleaned up and looking good after the work was completed.  He cares a lot about his Customers being happy with his work, as evidenced by the fact that he took care of the details - added additional ridge venting, painted exposed flashing to match the roof, and cleaned the gutters inside and out.  During the roof installation, he even showed up at my house after hours and worked to restore satellite dish reception for my family.  

If we ever get another series of storms that necessitates work on my roof, Phillip Price is my guy.  If you need roof repair or replacement, you can't go wrong with Price Construction and Roofing.

Phillip Price and his crew did an outstanding job.  They did everything that Mr. Price said they would do.  They arrived promptly every day and finished the job a little before the estimated completion date, but did not take shortcuts--everything was done very professionally.  He showed me areas that were not done properly when the house was built (no flashing where there should have been and the valleys had been done wrong) so he fixed those areas so they are done correctly.  He is willing to come back after any future big storms to ensure we don't have damage so that the roof can be maintained before a small problem becomes big.  He also gave me advice on how to handle some tricky gutter problems and gave me a referral of two contractors.  I highly recommend this company.

Phillip was a true professional.  We were having some other work done on our home and a contractor mentioned that it appeared I had storm damage on our roof. I was given Phillip's name by a man that had done gutter work for us.  I called Phillip to come out to take a look.  It was so refreshing....he answered right away, informed me he was on a job in Athens but he would be by later that afternoon.  He called me thirty minutes prior to arriving.  Phillip inspected our roof and agreed that we had significant storm damage that would ultimately lead to leaks.  He suggested that I contact the insurance company and offered to speak with them if needed. I did have another roofing company come out to give me an estimate as well. We ultimately decided to use Phillip because he always returned my calls, showed up to all scheduled appointments, and used a superior product.  Once we decided to have the work done by Price Construction he worked closely with our insurance company to ensure we were getting the full coverage we deserved.  The day the job was schedule to start I was very nervous because we had just completed a backyard renovation with a pool and new landscaping and I was concerned about the possibility of damage.  That morning Phillip and his crew were on the site bright and early and every precaution was taken to ensure our home and yard were protected.  The crew did a beautiful job and I was very impressed that they did not nail boards into our steeply pitched roof to make walking easier, rather they used ropes and security line which did not damage the roof,  The boards had been nailed into my original roof and large holes were discovered in the plywood.  Our new roof was completed in two days and our yard was left in pristine condition. We highly recommend Price Construction.   Phillip is a fantastic contractor to work with.  He is extremely skilled, he knows construction, and he does what he says he going to do!

I don’t want anything from them and I don’t want them to harass me saying that I owe them anything because of all the problems I have had.  I still have to get that attic fixed and the air in our septic tank.  I do not wish to talk to her anymore.  I have asked her to communicate with me through mails and not over the phone because I don’t want any problems.  I want everything to be on writing from now on.  I don’t want anyone else to go through what I have gone through with this company.  I don’t know how the other three neighbors did not have any problem with them.  We have been having problems after problems with them.  The roof actually looks good, but I am wondering if I will have any problems with it in the future.  I don’t want them to come back here for anything.  I will try and solve this issue with them and if it does not get resolved, I will contact Angie’s list about it.
