I have used Creative Gardening twice. Mr. Riccelli is easy to talk to, a transplanted "Southern Gentleman" from the north, and an expert at what he does. The first time we used him, he was referred to us by Bennett Nurseries as we needed some dogwoods replaced that had died (planted by our subdivision's landscapers). When he came by with our new dogwoods and his two helpers he showed me how the others were planted too deep and told me exactly how and why he was going to plant the new ones higher. The new dogwoods are doing great and bloomed this year. So when we decided to plant a River Birch in our backyard, we called him to do the job. He came by first to discuss where we wanted it planted and wanted to make sure that was the tree we wanted. Then he told us that in order to keep the branches and leaves, etc. out of our neighbors' yards, we should plant it several feet away from our fence. I appreciate the fact that he took our neighbors into consideration. The price quoted both times was very reasonable. The jobs were done well and in good time. I even called Mr. Riccelli the night before delivery and installation of the River Birch in panic mode with questions and he graciously spent the time explaining and sharing his expertise about the tree, it's root system, growth, etc. I thoroughly recommend Creative Gardening and would use them again. In fact, he is now working on a plan of redoing our flower beds at the front of the house. He came by yesterday to talk with us and give us his expertise. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Such a joy to work with.

Great! I was super-impressed with Bob's sense of the growth patterns of different plants. Also particularly impressed with his grooming of his workers to move into being business owners themselves. He truly cares about his workers and values their integrity. Bob was also responsive to my wants and the way I like things to look. He'll pass his opinion directly, w/o forcing it. He also freely admits it when he learns something new. It was a pleasure working with him. My front yard look gorgeous now!

Very well. Bob is very easy to work with. We tasked him to come up with a plan and after 2 iterations we reached agreement. His helpers who actually performed the work were very friendly and polite and did good work. I highly recommend Creative Gardening.

It went well. Area that was pine strayed looks great and driveway looks very good and clean. Bob provided a timely estimate/quote and the workers did a very good job and were careful not to damage existing flowers, plants and trees.

Creative Gardening provided exactly what I asked for - a simple, but beautiful landscape design and planting of my shrubs around the front of my house. The plants have continued to do well and look beautiful with little maintenance.

After the initial estimate and discussion of what needed to be done, the owner and his two employees came out on two occasions: first, to distribute the herbicide and do what it would take to smooth out an area that had held a tree (cut some roots that had been overlooked and dump and distribute a load of topsoil). On the actual sodding day, they were here from 8 to 5:30, using the Harley rake, digging up the devil strips we were sodding, and laying the sod. I was particularly pleased that the owner was present at all times and he and his helpers were hard-working and polite. I felt totally comfortable with the owner, Bob, from the initial meeting. He looked out for our best interests and recommended against sodding the backyard but seeding it instead--and also recommended against sodding under our large oak trees because the sodding wouldn't really work out. (We're working on a tree garden instead.) When the lawn gets established, I'll be happy to add a photo. At this point, I'm 100% pleased with the results and am looking forward to the spring outcome.

It went really well, they did a great job. They're very hardworking people. They helped a lot with the design work since I wasn't sure what to do. They taught me how to take care of all my new plants. I felt like I was in good hands as they took care of everything and would check with me often to make sure I was happy. They worked hard throughout the project and I would recommend them to anybody.

Excellent in all respects! Doris did a fantastic job on the pressure washing! Bob and crew were prompt and professional in the planting of the shrubs and they are healthy and growing! The only drawback with their shrubbery and planting is that they do not guarantee their plants, which all others have done anytime they plant shrubs. Overall a perfectly fine experience !
