WILCO CONSTRUCTION CO

Wilco provided the roof on our house 12 years ago.  We purchased the home nearly 3 years ago.  The roof has started to leak fairly badly in one area and I contacted Wilco to see if they would check it out and provide an estimate to repair.
Mr. Williams did come out and look at the roof from the ground but did not get on the roof to closely inspect the area.  He indicated they would return with a ladder to look at it more closely very soon.  He worked directly with my wife who liked him, but he never returned to look at the roof again. 
Several phone calls, 2 heavy rains that produced more water leaking and 2 weeks later I finally had a call returned where I was informed that they would not be coming out unless we wanted him to, and something along the line that they couldn't do it as cheaply as they inferred upon our initial conversations.  I was a little appalled at the tone of the conversation and how nonchalantly I was basically informed that my work was not valuable enough.  
Overall, a terribly disappointing experience.  I never had Wilco pick the phone up in their office the 5 to 6 times I called.  I now have a roofer that a friend referred.  I called around noon, he was here at 3:30 and will be coming back tomorrow (Saturday on a holiday weekend) to be on the roof and in my attic to provide an estimate.  If his work is good, he will be back for all future work that I am sure I will need.  Amazing how that works!  He had an interesting story of working for Wilco years ago that did even more to lessen my opinion of the company.  Contractor beware too I suppose.
I hope that my shingles hold up, as they have a long warranty, because I have little confidence in dealing with Mr. Williams again.

I am also having my kitchen renovated as we speak by Wilco. They are doing as great of a job with that as they did my deck. It took two days for them to finish my deck which I thought was great timing. The price was great and it even included the labor as well. I am very pleased with this company; I feel they are doing a great job.
