Skye Underwood was very professional.  He was recommended through a google search and he responded very quickly.  He came to the residence that day to draft the quote and he brought along pictures of his company's previous work which I found to be very effective.  He gave a price of $4 per square foot ($1200 total) and said that his "normal" price was $5.  After calling a few other places he reduced his price to $1000 for the entire project (330 sq ft) and said that he could start immediately.  There was a delay in starting the project and on the day that we finally agreed to start no one showed up until late in the afternoon.  He apologized for the confusion and said that his tile guy had been delayed with a side project.  Despite the delay, once his tile guy (Juan) did begin work they were very efficient and I was very impressed with the way that Juan managed his team and made sure that the installation was meeting his obviously high standards.  We asked for a quote on including the stairs (~36 sq ft) in the project and they went ahead and did the work.  The entire project took less than a day and a half.  Once the project was complete Skye came back to the house to look it over.  He had prepared an invoice for $1200 which included the work on the stairs.  I was a little put off that they did the work before we agreed on a price but I do think that the price was fair and Skye did indicate that he was open to negotiating.   Overall we were very happy with the work and the finished tile looks perfect (no hollow spots at all).
