RENO PLUMBING

I called this company when my usual plumber couldn't make it. It came recommended by a person at my workplace who told me Reno did a good job for her when other plumbers said it couldn't be done.  I thought I'd give them a try, and I will give the company credit for fast response and a courtesy call to let me know they were coming. That was much appreciated. The two guys who showed up were nice enough--about what you'd expect. They seemed to work quickly and efficiently, but when they presented me with the bill, it was not itemized and simply gave a total payment amount of $285.  That seems a bit excessive for a two relatively small jobs, considering I paid about the same amount to have an entire toilet replaced two years ago. But at that point, you have little choice except to write the check. Another thing that seemed odd to me was that one of the guys told me I might have to replace the entire sink. Really? For a faucet drip? I'm not a plumber but I have actually repaired a few of our sinks and toilets, and I'm not buying the story that I have to replace the whole unit (which is less than 20 years old) for a drip that probably just needs a new washer. When I informed him we would not be replacing the unit because the next owner might want to change out all the fixtures, he was able to fix it after all. Aside from possible price-inflation, this company seemed to do good work. I gave them a C because the individual grades were all over the map. I doubt I will use them again, but other customers may have better luck. (After all, they were recommended to me.) Just be sure to get itemized pricing up front.
