PRESTIGE PAINTING

Prestige was referred to us by a friend so I tried to be patient but I really should have given up on the company long before I did. The initial damage to my window was April 2011 and the painting work was not completed until Jan 2012. After Prestige "finished" I had to hire someone else to come in and redo the work where an entire section of trim was left with only primer, the baseboards had only 1 coat of paint, and you could still see electrician's pencil marks underneath the "new" ceiling paint. 

The office staff was terrible about returning calls and the painters could not fit me into the schedule for literally months at a time. We did have a little bit of scheduling difficulty simply because I also had to hire and schedule a trim carpenter and electrician in between Prestige's two visits but 9 months is really an outrage. When I spoke to the manager about the inferior painting work, he offered to send the painter back again. I asked if he wouldn't prefer to send someone else but he insisted that the man who had done the work was a good painter. However, the trim lines were sloppy, the caulk adjoining sections of new trim was entirely absent, and the painter left having only applied 1 coat of paint on the baseboards and zero coats of paint on the window trim! He never did send the painter back and I was honestly glad because his work was so atrocious, I was anxious to get a real painter to fix his sloppy work. 

This company was not worth the effort in time, money or job completed. It took forever to complete a few small projects and the work was quite unacceptable.
