Merchant Developmentâ s grout repair was quality workmanship. They arrived in a timely manner and completed the job leaving the area neat and clean.

Steve is very nice and his crews do good work but communication is a weak point. He is very busy and this is not his primary occupation . Subcontracted show up without advance notice and often one has to ask repeatedly when for sure. It would be better if subcontractors had definite times and estimated completion time so one can make plans. Contractor needs to keep better tabs on subs and better communication a must,

Steve responded timely to every 📞. His work was excellent and the price was very fair. His people fixed our kitchen floor and you cannot tell it was ever damaged. We liked him so much that we hired him to redo a bath. He is also.going to replace our sunroom windows with more energy efficient ones. He does a lot of kinds of work. I would definitely recommend his company

I was very satisfied and I’m a tough consumer. Mr Merchant came the very day I submitted the request with Angie. That was on Friday. The tile guys came on the following Monday. They we’re here three and a half days and worked diligently! They picked up when they left each night and when they finished cleaned the area nicely. I have hired people several times and they didn’t comeback or dragged their feet. I’m a single elderly person and, not like others, they showed me respect. You wouldn’t believe how previous groups did. There’s a world of difference inn my first bath remodel and the one they did for me. The tile work is just perfect! I would definitely hire them again. There was a little difficulty communicating since they spoke very little English. But between translate and their foreman we were able to understand each other perfectly .

Excellent customer service. Steve reached out to me immediately and was able to come by and give me a quote same day. He coordinated with the painters and had them start within a few days. I hired them to paint inside house. The painters were very efficient and well qualified. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company. Also, whatever service you need from remodeling to paint, electrical work, etc â ¦..â ¦. he can provide and coordinate every detail for you. Much appreciated his expertise!! NB

I hired Merchant Development to repair my hardwood floors. The work was done when promised and I am happy with how it looks.

Owner is very reliable. He returns calls and texts pretty quickly. If any issues come up, they are resolved in timely matter. His workers are hardworking, trustworthy and do a good job. Price was fair.

Replaced the back section of my wooden fence less than a year ago. Used a twisted and warped post as one of the gate post. The opening and closing of the gate. This interferes witCalled three times to come and repair this part of the job. He promised twice to come, but never showed up. I called the third time and left and message, and he never returned my call. I hired another contractor to make the repairs. It appears now that the materials used originally were of questionable quality. Also, I had to call the original back to clean up things left in the job by his crew. The man I contracted with, to my knowledge never came back to inspect the job. I was surprised, as I had a recommendation letter from, I thought, a reputable source.

It would be nice to talk to a worker who is fluent in English. Texting was useless as Mr. Aguilar was not literate in English. The job was completed and was very well done. I'm writing this before receiving the final invoice, and since one or two adders were agreed upon verbally I'm a tiny bit worried.

I have pictures to share if I could After talking to big companies and standalone contractors, we zeroed in on them because It looked like a balance(expenses and reputation), a big mistake. Work started in July, it is still unfinished and now falling off. The paint job is literally half done, meaning one can see the original unpainted wood. The proprietor met us 3 times, to get the job and then twice to get the money. We talked about a few things and then agreed upon an amount, I showed him some pictures to give him an idea about things like we agreed on cathedral ceiling and then to give an idea about the styles(gable or not) I sent a pictures which unfortunately did not show a cathedral ceiling I mean after all the picture was not for that, they went ahead and closed it up. Ok whatever. Then we agreed on a fan outside, when we did not see it, we might him and he replied saying it will be extra money Incidentally, while we are communicating via emails I see his worker putting up a fan. So he did not even remember what was agreed upon. The whole work was done by 2 people, it was so hot those days, they worked 7-11 and then some days came back at like 5-7 or so, will not blame them. We had the patio floor, we just needed to screen it in, and the roof of course. While doing that they broke off a piece of the wood that closes the gap between roof and wall leaving a big hole to the place where vents/insulation is ( but they fixed that when pointed out). Before hiring I asked about one of the reviews on this site and he said they are that kind of customer who didn t want to pay having said that he took the whole payment from us about a month into the job although before he said it is 3 payments starting, middle and then the end. One thing consistent with them is, he will keep reminding you about the 5 star review. Now we have a hole in the pockets, the half-painted patio of which the wooden strips along the mesh are already falling off (one is down and multiple other in the process) I have pictures for all of this. Also, someone told us who know them personally that this is not what their expertise is in, so maybe they were experimenting. Point is this patio was our special project for which we tried hard and saved money for and they just did their shoddiest best. We still have one of their ladders lying around which will go to curbside today. Oh and when we asked them to come finish the paintwork, his response was they Are too busy so it will be another week before someone comes and needless to say it is 2 weeks now and do not fall for his sweet talk.

Once they got started they finished in a timely manner. Very nice job. Would hire again.

The painters were very professional and courteous. They finished the job as agreed. I would recommend this business to anyone. They made recommendations about other jobs that I had. I do plan to hire them again. Their prices were reasonable and affordable.
