Mcdonald Canine Academy

We purchased a base package from McDonald Training Academy and saw a major improvement after one session. A lot of the training is geared towards training the owners how to interact with the dog and Kevin was an excellent communicator. We just finished all three sessions and have already seen improvements in our puppy's behavior. Still, lots of work to do on our end, but he gave us some great tools. Highly recommend! Very well. Trainer was responsive, didn't try to commit us to multiple sessions, was very flexible about meeting either at home or in the park, flexible in time. Learned a lot. Our dog is crazy high energy, we probably couldn't even walk her without what we learned.

We called Aaron when we were at our wits end with our dogs. We have a pack of four and two of them had started fighting for no apparent reason. Aaron helped us understand some of the psychology of the matter and helped us regain confidence and control of our pack. He was always very professional and punctual. If we ever have need for training again, we know who to call!

Kevin has truly changed our household environment. We are halfway through our dog's training and it's like night and day. We have a nine year old dog and a one and half year old daughter who weren't mixing. Our dog has been an inside dog since we rescued her 7.5 yr ago so we didn't want to just send her to the backyard. Kevin knows how to yeah an old dog (and I'm sure any dog for that matter) new tricks. I know we still have a ways to go but we're going in the right direction now. Thank you Kevin!

The training sessions went extremely well. The trainer explained each step as we went through--both how to manage the dog and how the dog was reacting and why. He did not waste a minute of the training sessions--entire attention was on our dog and us. No chit chat about other dogs, other clients, and so forth.t

Happy to say that my French bulldog is making a lot of progress under Aaron's guidance and instruction. Aaron has helped me learn for cues to watch for and how to effectively correct my dog without hurting or distressing him. I feel much safer now when I walk my dog around other dogs. I would highly recommend Aaron and McDonald's K-9 Academy.

Kevin was very professional, arriving on time and getting straight to work. He asked me questions in an attempt to figure where to focus his training. He reviewed each week as well offering to let me call him at home should I have any questions. I was pleased with the experience and would highly recommend his services to anyone who has need of a trainer.

The remaining sessions I donated to a Silent Auction benefitting a local Animal Rescue Service. I can't say enough about the great service from Aaron and McDonald K-9 Academy. I now have control over three 60+ pound, young bully breed dogs!
