Very nice Rep came to survey the home and get a handle on what needed to be moved to storage unit and what needed to go to a temporary rental location. When later our plans changed some, everyone was extremely nice and helpful in regrouping. On the schedule day we needed help, the truck arrived right on time. Two very nice young men introduced themselves, and went right to work loading the truck. The only hitch we had was a mechanical issue with the truck, but the company sent a maintenance person out who resolved the problem. This is a very professional company, with really nice employees, and I would definitely recommend them to friends!

They not only showed up on time, but called to see if they could come early. They did a great job and did not damage one item. They worked quickly and had great manners and very friendly and clean cut.

Overall very professional, but emails often not answered for several days. Not without problems.
On return, frame of sofa was cracked, arms of 2 chairs were scraped and the top of my dining room table was covered in scratches. I noticed the cracked sofa frame immediately and pointed out the damage. I received no response from the crew chief. I opened one box to look for a missing item and found that a lamp was dissembled, basically ripped from its base, in order to make it fit in the box. Instead of removing the harp, they ripped the base from the lamp.
They are the only reliable company for moving a piano and antiques, but I was a bit disappointed. I emailed Bart, the owner, but received no response. Based on their reputation and prices, I expected more. I have yet to get prices on fixing the damage incurred, but it will probably run into the thousands.
If I had to move a piano again, I would use them. Unless I had a very specific need, as I did this time, I will probably use another company in the future.

Visited us several times before the move just to make sure we didn't have any questions. Very professional and easy to work with. Worked hard and fast while taking great care of our furniture, art, etc.

Overall, this was the best experience with movers I have ever had, and I have moved a lot over the past 30 years. In the Birmingham area, I would recommend McCorquodale Transfer as the very best.

They are excellent. I give them an "A" for everything.

They are a top moving company. My son worked there for the summer. They are very professional. They started out by hauling antiques. They had so much demand to move antiques that they are full-time in the business now. We didn't use the truck, so they didn't charge for it. They are professional. They don't smoke. There is no bad language. They are all courteous. They always stop by and ask how I am.

Overall I was very satisfied with the services. I will use them again in the future.

Our move began on a Saturday morning at 8 am and ended around 3 pm. The only break they took was for a quick lunch. It was a HOT day, and these guys kept it going. We were very happy with the service they provided.

They are pricey, no two ways about it. But I was very pleased with how they did the job.

They did an excellent job and we were very pleased with the service. I would definitely use them again because they were careful and clean. They even set the bed up for us which was very nice. The price was reasonable as well.

This company moved me less than 5 miles and because of the holiday weekend they were all over booked, so they charged me three times more than the previous moving company that moved my husbands things. I was so disappointed in them and I thought they used me.
