It took four calls before they came out. Cost us over $1,000 in water bills. No accommodation for lack of responsiveness. Granted, we should have called someone else immediately, but had used them in the past and they were familiar with our equipment. We will never, ever, ever use them again. Terrible service.

I called Mr. McCay to check on slow draining and backing up pipes. We had pumped our septic tanking hoping that would take care of the situation, but wanted a check on the inside plumbing that had backed up as we suspect the possibility of some other issues. You sure don't want sewer backup problems. He and his associate called on their way and arrived shortly after, were extremely nice and professional. They checked out the pipes within the concrete slab as best they could and cleared a grease problem. Mr. McCay made other suggestions that he could do to further check the sewer pipes, but recommended we see how things go before undertaking more extensive sewer work since he though things were most likely okay from what he saw.
He charged what I considered a minimal price for a home plumbing visit and gave his honest opinion on things rather than running up a big bill doing work that might not be needed. If our problems come back, we will call him again.

They came out as quick as they could and they did a good job and the price was very reasonable.

This person behaved rudely and performed sub-standard work. It took 3-4 attempts to get the cooktop and downdraft pipes in the correct place. He failed to read the installation instructions and spec sheets when I chose the appliances and when he was laying the pipes in the slab floor. He blamed this on me and on my kitchen designer. He moved the hot water heater several feet, as requested, but complained when I said that he did not move the gas line. "That wasn't what you asked for" he said. I was horrified at the way he treated me and the rudeness with which he spoke to me. After he finished, I called another plumber (who was recommended by several people) to come inspect the work. I truly feared a gas explosion or a flood onto my new hardwood floors. It was a good thing that we did -- we found the dishwasher had been left unhooked! Had I run the dishwasher, it would have flooded the kitchen (new cabinets, new floors and all). Of course, we had a finish deadline for the project in order to move into the house. Mr. McCay did not cooperate well with other contractors and was difficult to schedule. His office would tell me that he could not arrive for another 3 days, and then he would show up one hour later.
