Everything went incredibly smoothly. I didn't like the first chain like I thought I would, and they had no problem sending it back, and the second one worked great. I felt like everyone involved went above and beyond to help get me what I had in mind (even if I didn't 100% know what that was).

Good/Bad! After not hearing from them for weeks I e-mailed on the day before promised. No response. Followed it up with about four other e-mails and no response. Phone calls were either put on indefinite hold, they could not find the piece or the repair guy was not in or out of town. Finally got him and he said the diamonds are real and it is gold but the emerald was a synthetic. He told me that they sent it out right away and the lab returned it immediately since it was a fake emerald and nothing to examine or appraise. My gut told me this might be the case which is why I agreed to the $200 fee. I was not shocked but simply glad to know before I commited fraud by selling it. I have the original receipt and know it was genuine. I am also positive this store DID NOT switch the stone. The problem comes with communication. Their e-mail service does not work I was told and mail does not go to this individual. Apparently the person it does go to can't find this individual either. As it was sent in as soon as it was dropped off in July and quickly returned they sat on it. He said they do not call because these things are often for gifts and if the spouse picks up the surprise is ruined. He knew this was from an estate and what the reason for not calling was still is a mystery. The only way I found out it was ready is the last Wednesday in August I finally got him on the phone and got the answer. Had I not gotten him on the phone it would still be sitting there. I have been told that identifying a synthetic from a real stone is not hard since there are NO inclusions in the synthetic. This straight from my call to the GIA. Why it could not be done there I have no clue. They have a gemologist in store as per their website. Part of this is MY fault for not making calls to GIA once I suspected the stone was switched. One must do their homework before. Had I known it did not need to be sent out and one could tell I would have found a jeweler capable of handling in store. It was for a certification but what is there to certify with a fake? Once I picked up the stone I drove home and stopped by two reputable jewelry stores, one high end and the other simply average. Both had gemologists and examined the stone and told me on the spot it was fake. This jeweler denied he could tell if it was real or not and needed the lab. Combined with the inability to pick up the phone for weeks I would not use again. He knew I had many more pieces and the site says they do estates so go figure. I was told I was and quot;questioning his trustand quot;, he had other customers and was way to busy to be bothered with this and it apparently takes lots of time to find the phone. To his credit he DID waive the $80 mailing charge to have the lab tell me it was fake. The man clearly did not understand my frustration in delaying probate and my need to evaluate and get get the text of the estate liquidated. If it takes this long for one piece I will be taking my dirt nap before this process is done. He also said there is no certified gemologist in the city that will do on site evaluations. Odd thing I am bringing several pieces to a guy on site next week. Bottom line.......they don't need or want to be bothered and quick and efficient are not part of their service. Beautiful store but I would not recommend. I was trying to do the right thing and none of it matches up. No e-mail service that works for over a month? That right there tells it all. Still not sure why I was not called when piece came in. Phone challenged too. Nice store with nice pieces. Such a shame.

We had trouble getting waiting on but once we got waited in, it was an older man that attended us. I guess it must have been the owner himself and he gave us a good price. We found a ring which we really liked and then he found a wedding band to match it. He was very nice and helpful. He went down on the price so we were happy with it.

Very unique jewelry and items sold here! They have very good prices and you receive great quality for the money. They have been around practically forever and have an incredible selection of items (including antiques and estate pieces). They have by far the best quality, price and selection. They are the best value in town!
