LeafFilter Gutter Protection

The quality of work was very nice, fast, and done well. It was a good service.

The service was great, and the soon as we call them they take care of the problem.

Leaf Gutters were installed "correctly" per the company's inspector. They don't work!!!!! The leaves and debris accumulate on top of them. (The pictures below show the gutters after they have been "cleaned off" by Leaf Filter. ) Rainwater then flows over the gutters instead of into them and onto the deck. I was informed that the "debris has to wash away itself." Instead of cleaning out the gutters once or twice a year, I have to do it weekly! Stupidest purchase I ever made!

Overall I am pleased with this provider. The covers installed appear to be solid and (pending a testing rainstorm) likely to provide the desired functionality. The installers were professional and competent, although neither spoke English very well so communication when questions arose was difficult. This became an issue when I had to ask them about the gutter cleaning they were supposed to be doing. I knew one gutter had a plug in the top of the downspout and wanted that to be cleared, as a good gutter cleaning ought to, and I still suspect they didn't (waiting for rain to know for sure). The only other shortfall was a section of downspout that wasn't installed as agreed. I contacted the sales agent who referred me to customer service. I'll call customer service in the morning and see how they respond. It would have been better if the customer service agent had volunteered to make sure things were fixed (I sent him a picture of the discrepancy), but he didn't. Had he done so, or the discrepancy hadn't been left, I would have rated an A.

It took a little longer than I expected for the installation, and the installers did not communicate with me about their progres so I wasn’t sure they’d be finished before night fell. But they completed it in one day, and it is doing a great job of protecting my roof and the shrubs at my drip lines.

Everything went good...as expected. There was a misquote on price and once I was convinced to go ahead with the project, the price went up. Apparently there had been a miscalculation in measurement and therefore the price was more. Overall, I'm still satisfied with the work.
