Awful. My wife called and the owner got another call and said he had to take it because it was a salesperson he needed to talk to. My wife then took pictures of our furniture and emailed it to him with what we needed done. No response via text, phone, or email. I wouldn’t let these people do our furniture if it were free.

Mr. Keel never replied to my email and I did not have time to pursue it any further. I suppose there's a possibility that Mr. Keel lost my email or that he replied and I never received it but I have no way of knowing. This review demands that a location where the work was done be provided but of course, there was no work done.

I called Mr. Keel a little after 4:00pm on Thursday, 4/3, to inquire about having several pieces refinished and or reupholstered that were damaged when a fire sprinkler pipe burst in our home. He said he was on his way out to attend a meeting but would call me the next day. On 4/4 I went by the shop with a list of items and descriptions. He wasn't in but I was given Mr. Keel's card and told to email him pictures of the items. I left my name and contact number on the list I left for him. Later that day, I sent him 8 emails with a total of 20 pictures asking for a quote and availability. I never received any follow up from him after the 3 different ways I contacted him.

Enjoyed them 'deconstructing' the history of the piece that my grandmother had brought from Mississippi to Texas after World War I. While they're not the cheapest, they are very knowledgeable and did a wonderful restoration on a piece that has a lot of sentimental value for me. They came and picked it up, had it complete when they said they would, and then returned it back to the same spot in my home, and it's beautiful.

Refinished my mothers antique china cabinet.

Excellent. Perfect for doing high end refinishing. They are artists at what they do.

I only spoke with him over the phone. He was very nice over the phone.

I actually don't remember the date I called, but the person I spoke with was wonderful. They were unable to do what I needed but referred me to someone who might possibly be able to repair my furniture. The person they referred me to called me promptly, came to my house and viewed the furniture. As it turns out, it could not be repaired and I had to go another route. I would definitely recommend these people as a result of their honesty and the person they referred me to was wonderful also.

We had an antique sofa with carved wood trim. Keel reupholstered and refinished the sofa and did a wonderful job. They were very professional and timely re: the work and delivery.

The experience went well. I took the chairs to Mr. Keel's shop where they did the work. The only warning I might give is that the shop is on 4th Ave South and parking is limited.

Over the years, Mr. Keel has done a few jobs for us. I have always been pleased with quality of the work and has been a pleasure to work with. He is straight forward and honest with his abilities. I would definitely recommend him to other people.

They could improve on their customer service. Their work was excellent.

Roger Keel came to my house to pick up a large multi-leafdining room table and matching end table, gave an estimate, discussed initial stain colors, and followed up exactly as he said he would to make sure the finish was just the shade we wanted. The refinishing looks incredible and the service and communication were excellent. Great experience! He and the people he works with have a great appreciation for quality workmanship.

I am so pleased with the work that was done by Keel Upholstery. It was super simple to have them come and pick up my chair and then deliver it a few weeks later when it was done. The upholstery work is lovely, the chair looks brand new. The guys that picked up and dropped off were friendly and professional - very careful when moving the chair to not bump door frames, etc. - and the price was great considering it was totally low hassle for me. I would most definitely use this service again. :)
