It was a bigger job than I had realized but the work was done efficiently and cleanly and the result looks better than I could have imagined.

Again, this company went out of their way to help me with two thresholds in my home. I am in a wheelchair and needed to be able to get over these thresholds. A company representative came to my home and measured both doors, then sent me an estimate. I was very pleased and asked when they could start work. In the meantime, Joe found me an alternative to having to have the thresholds removed and replaced with new ones. He came to my home and showed me where I could fimd threshold covers that would work just as well as their work. And, these covers will save me money. I thought that was a very generous thing he did

I was very happy with them at the beginning but was more irritated than happy with them at the end. The two workers that did the demo, carpentry and painting were excellent. The guy that did the tile did okay with the tile but I found a place in the shower floor that was filled with caulk. It came out when I was cleaning and left a hole in the grout. There were several things they did at the end that I thought were sloppy. The supervisor told me to and quot;trust him and quot; and go ahead and pay him and he would come back the next work day and install the insulation that I paid for and I still haven't heard back after more than a month. I had someone else fix the things that were not right or undone.

He was very prompt with showing up at the house. He responded within one day with any questions about the bid. The crews were not sub contractors. It was the same people that came out every time.

He was very responsive and very responsible with good results.

The subcontractors from Home Maintenance Associates Inc. Company did an excellent job. I was very pleased with the quality of their craftsmanship. They did very good carpentry work. They had to work about 20 feet off the ground in order to build the scaffold; it was a difficult project. They did a very good job with that. They were pricey though. I had some twenty estimates as it was a difficult deck to build since it was high off the ground. However, I was not impressed with them as I was with Home Maintenance Associates Inc. Company. I decided to go with them because I felt that they had the experience to do the job. I felt that I just ended up paying for that experience. They showed me lots of pictures of the decks they had built in the past. That convinced me more that they can do the job and they did. My experience with scheduling them and everything else went very well. However, they were working on other jobs on the same time so they were delayed a couple of times. It wasn't an issue with me because I wasn't in any rush. I also knew that if I had an issue with the delay they would have given preference to my job. The final deck looks very good. However, the wood is withering pretty quickly, but I can't blame them for it because they just chose what was available. I would use them again in the future.

Scheduling the estimate was easy and quick. However, my experience went down hill after that. They sent someone over to replace the board on the back, and the person apparently used one of my flower pots to stand on and replace the board. He did not even put it back. Also, he left work trash from where he worked. The gutter situation was even worse. For weeks on end, I would call and either not get anyone, or call and they would say, "Oh, we'll definitely come tomorrow." On the day that was going to be their "last chance", they brought the new gutters and left them lying in my yard. (I live in a townhouse community, so this was actually pretty embarrassing). The gutters were left there for over a week while I tried to get a hold of them. When I finally got in touch with someone, as always, they said, "We'll come put them on tomorrow." I replied, "If they're not on my house tomorrow, I do NOT want them at all." I said just charge me for the replaced board, and I'm done. They actually came the next day (after about a month and a half from my request for them to do the work). They may be a good company, if you need a complete renovation and have a ton of money to spend, but apparently, they brush you off if you simply need new gutters.

They were prompt and did a good job.

We have since found out that the replacement of the posts was totally unnecessary and did not solve the band board problem. Upon contacting the company to alert them to this issue, they offered to come out and give another estimate for more repairs. We also had issues when using them to replace siding with cement board. I will not use them again.

Our 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom home was up for sale but everyone who came to see it said it needed another bathroom. We took it off the market and had HMA come in to install the bathroom. The price ended up being exactly what they quoted, they showed up every morning on time, cleaned up after themselves, were polite, and did a very nice job. I did left them alone in my house while I went to work. We did receive an offer and sold our house soon after that.

The repairs were ridiculously pricey and the electrician/plumber was just horrible. We had to hire another electrician ourselves to redo many repairs.

The company did a great job on the deck; it was wonderful. The quality of work was done with a lot of time and patience. The workers were friendly and courteous to my home. They completed the work in a good amount of time as well.

Home Maintenance Associates can fix or build anything. I have recommended them to a friend and he was extremely happy with the work also. They are an honest company with integrity. I trusted to leave my home with their workers here. I am very pleased with the deck. I would definitely call this company again.

My house is not very wide, but the roof is rather steep, so the gutters had to be able to handle a lot of water when the rainstorms are severe. The crew that did the work was on time, and apparently knew what they were doing, because the job was completed in just two hours. They took, the old gutters with them when they left, as well. The new gutters have worked out extremely well. I have not had water come over the edge of the gutters, like the old ones.
