HARBAR CONSTRUCTION CO INC

I was not at all pleased with Harbar. Our main liaison was an incredibly rude woman. She blatantly insulted us and was extremely uncooperative - despite our very best efforts to win her over (even though we were the ones paying $340k for her services). The wrong materials were repeatedly ordered and installed, including the bricks, doors and oven. We ended up having to take care of many items post-closing even though we were repeatedly guaranteed such items would be completed by Harbar. A few of the other problems: horrible job on the interior paint, dirty hand-prints left all over the walls, cable outlets were not hooked up (I had to spend several hours in the attic doing so myself) and our shower pan was installed incorrectly leading to a leak underneath our walls that ruined a large portion of our hardwood floor. Buyer beware.

Harbar Homes did a splendid job of designing our home. They used the highest quality of materials for the construction, as per our request. The contractor could always be found at the job site. He was really good at keeping us informed of the progress being made. They were absolutely excellent.

They did a wonderful job in constructing our home to our specification from the landscaping to the top of the chimney. The contractor was always on site or easily accessible and he had a very skilled crew who always showed us great respect when they showed up on the job site.
