Flowerbuds Inc

I gave Flowerbuds an amount I would like to spend on the arrangement and requested no carnations (I don't like them). The arrangement was beautiful - the best looking arrangement in the place. No carnations - only beautiful roses and greenery. It was delivered on time and was greatly appreciated by the staff. I will use them again and do recommend them to friends.

Worst florist I have ever dealt with. I went to a florist in Las Vegas to send a flower arrangement to my cousin's funeral in the Birmingham, Alabama area. The Las Vegas florist told me I could check the Teleflora site and that all of those arrangements were available. I decided to send a standing spray called "A New Sunrise." The reviews on the Telafora site for this arrangement were excellent, many of them stating how beautiful the arrangement was made up and how it ended up looking just like the pictures on the site. The arrangement has lots of bright colors which is what we wanted so we ordered it. I ended up paying $150 for the arrangment, $10 delivery fee and $20 wire fee, plus tax for a total of $192.15. I ordered the arrangement a couple days before the funeral. I was assured that it would be just what I ordered. The day of the funeral came and I was sent pictures of the flowers that were delivered by Flowerbuds, Inc., a Birminghan, Al. florist. I was shocked and disappointed. What was sent looked nothing like I had ordered. It was mainly very light colors (light red and pinkish colors which we didn't want) and had flowers types (such as roses) which were not suppose to be in the arrangement. The flowers were not arranged correctly. I took the pictures to the florist in Las Vegas who couldn't believe what Flowerbuds had did and she immediately called them. I heard her telling Flowerbuds that the flowers were different, they weren't arranged correctly, etc. She was told the owner would call her back. The Las Vegas florist then called me a short time later and told me that she had talked to the owner of Flowerbuds, (Janet?) who told her she didn't know that the problem was as "everyone was ohhing and ahhing" when these flowers were delivered. Janet also told the Las Vegas florist that "they don't do arrangements like that in Alabama." WHAT? Are you kidding me? Then quit taking orders from the Teleaflora site if you can't deliver what is ordered) Janet went on to give the Las Vegas florist excuse after excuse why the flowers were not done correctly. Nevermind they didn't looking anything like I ordered, weren't arranged correctly and had the wrong flowers and colors in it. She did agree to refund $40 of my money since I wasn't happy. (The Las Vegas florist told me that all of the money in these transactions goes to the florist who makes up and delivers the flowers, in this case Flowerbuds, and that they don't get anything on these types of orders) The Las Vegas florist also told me that there were four different florists in the Birmingham area in the Teleflora network to choose from so if Flowerbuds couldn't make the arrangement correctly, and had let them know, another florist could have been contacted. I was able to get the name of the Birmingham florist off of the card attached to the flowers and called them myself. The owner (Janet?) called me back and was horrible to talk to. She could have cared less that the flowers were not what I ordered. She said (and I know she was lying) that she told the Las Vegas florist that they didn't have the flowers to correctly make up the order and that the Las Vegas florist told them to "go ahead and just make it anyway." (When I told this to the Las Vegas florist she state it was an outright lie as they would have contacted another florist to make the arrangement if Flowerbuds couldn't. Flowerbuds just figured I wouldn't see what they had sent) I then told Janet that I would be writing reviews about this incident and that could hurt their business. Unbelievably her exact words were "I hope it does." She was talking in a very smart tone with me and I just hung up on her. Save yourself a lot of time and frustation and use a different florist. Horrible florist, Horrible owner and Horrible business ethics.
