FLOORING SOLUTIONS

It went well, just a bit messy...

The carpet installation went OK, they did a good job on the stairs, but the carpet itself ended up being a poor quality. The ceramic tile was installed over new sub-floor, but it has cracked across the entire room in 3 places. The kitchen island was "cemented in" at a crooked angle. It is not lined up correctly, and I can not change it without removing the tile. Also, where the tile and carpet meet, they did not finish the edge and I have an ugly metal strip like you see with a vinyl floor. I said I didn't want that and they told me it was too late to change it. Yes, it would have helped if we could have spoken directly to the workers, they didn't speak English. Then the tile in the powder room was not the tile we picked out..it was a shade lighter and totally different tile. I couldn't tell until it was too late and it was cleaned off. The final mess was the refinishing of the hardwoods in 3 rooms. They were to sand and apply 2 coats of polyurethane while we were out of town. We returned to a house full of dust, and not even 1 complete coat of polyurethane on the floors. I had only paid for 1/2 of that part up front...I told them forget it, don't come back. I am surprised to see that they are still in business..and surprised to read the good reviews...I'm still living with the messy job they did.

They were there on time and did a good job. They finished the job when they said they would finish it. We had checked many other places for prices and other things. They were very comparable with everyone else. My son had said that he had used them about a year ago. There is dust all over the house when the hardwood floors are done. They had a new machine which sucked all the dust up into the sweeper as the floors were being sanded. So there was virtually no dust at all. We were very satisfied with the work they did. A lot of them could not speak English but there was one of them who could understand what we were saying. They were here when they said they would be here. They had a hard time finding the place. We thought that we would have to lead them somewhere and bring them home here but they were here on time when they called.

We are really pleased, the way they scheduled our work made for nice living conditions, our home wasn't turned into a job site. We were totally comfortable leaving the installers in our home while we were at work. They also have a service person who comes to inspect the work, thats nice. Also i want to say these are honest business people. We try to use people who we feel do business with integrity christian companies are harder to come by especially these days. I tell everyone i know about this company, they are great.

The most unprofessional work I have ever seen! Installer couldn't speak English; didn?t follow any safety rules at all. In danger my family by disconnecting a gas line and didn?t cap of secure it allowing the gas to fill my house for two days. I was giving one quote and it was change after the work was done. They place my wife on the account when she did not sign the paper work or agree to the terms. In these hard economic times, I do feel one justice, is that they probably won?t be in business long with that quality of work and professionalism

This company went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied.

Our overall feel for this company was one of mixed reviews. They weren't the easiest to communicate with and there were many ways they could have been better. I will say the carpet was good and they didn t run into problems putting it down. But without the time it took and the attitude displayed throughout, this wasn t at the top of my list for experiences.
