Other wise the home was very clean. I do wish she would have pointed out to either my FIL who was present or via text or phone call that there was food left in the refrigerator. Luckily, I was doing a look over since we had to drive up to work on the floors and found it. Lastly, the oven nor the bottom drawer of the stove was wiped out. I ran the self cleaning function of the oven and wiped it out before I left. The tenants were very pleased with the home upon move in.

"I do not know who this member is as we do not, nor have we in the past, had a client by the name of [member name]. We have also NEVER done a cleaning where we only cleaned the bathroom and kitchen as this person states was done for him. Additionally, the date he lists as the "date of cleaning" (January 9, 2013) was an off day for myself and my staff as we had an in-service training that day. So, I don't know who this person used for their cleaning(s) but I assure you that it was not Domestic Diva House Cleaning as our records indicate that we have not had a client by that name, on that date, at that price, and certainly not for just a bathroom and kitchen cleaning. Furthermore, we certainly have not completed multiple cleanings for this person. I would ask that Angies List do some more research and make sure that the correct company is being listed for reviews."

"I think our other reviews speak CLEARLY for themselves. I am sorry that Mr. [member name removed] is lashing out because he is upset that I recently had to drop him as a client. We NEVER missed a single cleaning, and when a cleaning was re-scheduled it was always done in advance with his wife. Their house was cleaned every two weeks as scheduled. I will add that due to a financial situation the wife wanted to halt all cleanings a couple of months ago...went back and forth on it, which put us in a bind from a scheduling perspective, and then decided to move forward...there was not ANY unreliability on our end. I thought highly of this family and never had a single complaint from the husband or the wife, even when I constantly asked if things were going well...I was always told everything was "great". I find it unfortunate that even though they were given plenty of notice that we could no longer provide cleaning services for their home, and had an extremely pleasant exchange with the wife at that time, that the husband feels the need to be rude about it now. I gave them an extreme discount on their home, and cleaned the equivilent of TWO homes as I cleaned the mother-in-law home in the basement (which is a footprint of the main house upstairs--very large area) and dealt with some unsightly things in the mother-in-law quarters due to her illness that anyone else would have refused to do or would have charged A LOT more money to do due to the hazardous/contagious nature of the clean up...but I never charged them a penny more and cleaned it up for months. For the record, they were only charged $125 every two weeks for both areas and this was easily a $200+ service. I wish this family well and hope they find a service that can meet their needs."

Contacted Domestic Diva a week later to use the cleaning service.
A date was scheduled for Feb 6th, 2013 for the cleaning.
Received a cancellation call the day before the cleaning was to be performed.
At that point I suggested that I would contact her if I need to use her service .
That was the last conversation and experience I had with Domestic Diva.
"Ms. Jennings fails to mention that we had to cancel abruptly due to an injury the day before ( injured shoulder/back) which was explained to her at that time and she seemed to understand, and at that time she informed me she would call if she needed a service down the road. She was only wanting a once monthly cleaning and I have not heard from her since that time. Again, we have never cancelled a single cleaning with any client outside of this injury and have EXCELLENT reviews on our promptness and reliability with ALL of our other clients. I would be happy to work with Ms. Jennings if she is still in need of a service. And just as we apologized at that time for the inconvenience, I do apologize for the unplanned injury and subsequent cancellation. Those are things we just do not have any control over."

We get our whole house cleaned. It is a large home, only one child but numerous pets, hamsters, and whatnot. We don't destroy the place but there is plenty to be cleaned by the time our cleaning day rolls around each week. All I can say is that it is thorough. The floors are great, the hardwoods are cleaned and vacuumed and then mopped, the bathrooms look amazing when they are done, the kitchen is spotless, the bedrooms are completely made up and cleaned and dusted, the office is cleaned from top to bottom. Just a great job. And it has been a great job every single time they clean. No deviations, no hit and miss cleanings, just consistently excellent service. You can really tell she takes a lot of pride in what she does and I can definitely tell a huge difference between the work that Domestic Diva does and some of the other services we have used in this area over the years. No comparison!
Also, they are just very nice to work with. Always pleasant, smiling, very eager to do the job the way we want it done and no cancellations or issues of them running hours behind schedule. We just feel very fortunate to have found this service and I would definitely recommend them if you are thinking about hiring a service on a regular basis. You can't go wrong with this one...and that comes from somebody who has used several of the other services in this area over the years. I do want to add that prior to being referred to Domestic Diva, we had called another well known service (I see their cars all over B'ham but they are ridiculously expensive in my mind) and it was going to cost us about $50-75 more PER CLEANING than what our estimate was with Domestic Diva...so I do know that they are less expensive than a lot of the other services. Other services will give you a lower quote to get your business but then do crappy work and trust me, we've had that happen to us before.
So, anyway, we called Domestic Diva on Monday of that week, we had a walk-thru with the owner on Tuesday, we got specific prices and discussed our desired preferrances on cleaning methods, products, etc (they supply ALL the cleaning materials so I literally don't keep anything other than maybe a bottle of spray 409 in my home now), and we were able to get on the schedule for Thursday of the same week. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
The day of the actual cleaning she was one time, very pleasant and went right to work. She brought everything, including the vacuum cleaner, so all I had to do was let her inside. She started upstairs and worked throughout each room dusting, making beds, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning (or should I say SCRUBBING) the bathrooms--tubs, sinks, toilets, floors, mirrors, everything!--she cleaned/mopped our staircase and then went to work downstairs. My kitchen looked amazing--she polished the stainless steel (with 3 kids I had forgotten that it could actually look that good), the counter tops were completely disinfected and cleaned, the microwave was cleaned inside and out, and the floors looked better than they had in a long time. The downstairs bedrooms were cleaned and vacuumed extremely well, the beds were perfectly made, and every inch of the carpets/hardwoods were cleaned. The house looked and smelled wonderful when she was done. Since I was home she had me walk thru with her and we discussed any of the hard to clean spots (we have some grout that is damaged so I knew that is was stained but that it had been cleaned thoroughly) and she insisted I call her if I were to find anything that wasn't as it should be after she left. I didn't have to call her, but I thought it was pretty awesome that she was so eager for me to let her know if there was anything that wasn't as it should be (even when we had problems with the other services it usually didn't do us any good to call).
The service with Domestic Diva is very personalized and doesn't feel like you are dealing with strangers in your home. And the peace of mind alone is worth more than anything! I give Domestic Diva an A+ in every category. You might pay a few dollars more (or in some cases you might even pay less) but it is well worth it. We have been using them for over two months now on a weekly basis and love them. I also know that they do a lot of other homes here in Ross Bridge so it is somewhat comforting to know that so many of our neighbors trust them as well. I know this has been long but I also hope that it has been helpful.
