Excellent job. The representative was very knowledgeable, tolerant of my many many questions, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work performed. I would not hesitate to use Davis Plumbing again.
Spoke more than once on the phone with the owner for scheduling (had to coordinate the arrival with the work of other trades on the same day). Communication was excellent. Very punctual!
My only complaint is that they did not have a refrigerator magnet business card so I could find their number quickly... ;)

I spoke to the man and got an estimate. When I called back a week later to make an appointment, I sopke to a lady. She took my information and scheduled a date to come. This was a Monday with a work date of Friday. I called back on Wednesday to confirm and spoke to a different lady who asked what time of day Friday. I told her, after noon. Friday came and went and no plumber. Still no word nearly a week later. This wasn't that big a job. Should have been an easy $225. Sorry guy, this one fell thru the cracks and Angie's list deserves to know.

He was excellent and did a fine job. He cleaned up after himself, and was efficient and thorough. I feel like I got a great value.

It was an excellent experience. He was nice, knowledgeable, and negotiable. He even found the right toilet for me. I found him to be efficient and clean. He cleaned up after he left.

We had lived in this house only a few months. Suddenly the garbage disposal stopped working. When you turned it on it just hummed, but didn't turn or function in any way. We had reached in and could find nothing stuck in it, and we had pressed the reset button, which did not help either. He quickly discovered a small screw that was jamming the works. He removed it, then gave us a tool with which we could fix it ourselves next time, by turning the tool to release whatever was jamming it.. He couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Next time we need a plumber, we will definitely call Davis Plumbing!

My 17 year old water heater began periodically leaking on 12/10 - A rainy Saturday - my thinking at first was a foundation leak but it turned out that my old water heater was breaking down. I stoped using hot water except in emergancies but still had the massive leaks each time the pressure went up in the water heater. I called Davis on Monday morning and by noon they had someone at my house installing a new water heater. During the install they noticed that my pressure regulator was rusted shut (I knew this had been a problem in the past) and for a very modest price they installed a new regulator as well as a new cut-off lever. The service was very professional and timely. The next day I experienced another water leak, called Davis Plumbing again - they were there rvery apidly and more than willing to correct anything they may have done, but it turned out that a root had obstructed the pipe leading from the house. Again the young man was very professional and methodical in his investigation of the cause and he corrected the problem. I was even more impreessed since two previous plumbers had done non-necessary repairs when I called with backed up drains that were most likely due to this same problem. I am now confident that the source cause has been corrected once and for all.

It took only a few hours to replace some old pipes and get all of the drains running freely. The plumber was very professional and did not leave any mess or water around the home. The price was much lower than other companies for the level of service.
