After obtaining several estimates to replace our roof, I decided on Crest Roofing. There estimate was midway between the lowest and highest cost estimates. Our roof required 64 squares and has a very steep pitch with dormers and several distinct shapes. They scheduled a date to begin and told me that the job would take one to two days. On the scheduled date, their crew arrived before 7 AM. It was a very large crew, and they went to work without delay. They completely removed all roofing and felt and I was able to see all the decking. This was helpful since I could see that no bad areas were covered. One area of decking was repaired. I knew before hand that this would need to be done. To protect my landscaping and grass and deck, a large tarp was spread to catch the old roofing. A crew on the ground worked to quickly pick up the old roofing and place it in a trailer. After the first day's work, our yard and deck were clean, our walkways and driveway were swept and checked for stray roofing nails. The job was completed on schedule and our yard, deck and driveway were clean and free of roofing materials and nails. There were no deviations from the cost quoted and the final bill. I would recommend Crest Roofing to my friends and neighbors.

Estimate was free and given on the spot vs mailed (as several competitors did). Office staff was excellent to work with and extremely prompt in returning phone calls. Original estimate was off by 2 squares but thier price per square still beat everyone elses so the final cost was still the best. The crew that showed up was professional and did a great job. Everything was cleaned up as if they were neven even here. House looks great.

Job started when they said. They left tar marks from the old tiles on my hand rails at front steps and window sills. These will have to be cleaned and possibly repainted. Otherwise the cleanup was very good. Never saw the owner after his initial estimate nor did he bother to explain the higher cost. His supervisor was my only contact. The job ran over $2100 from the original estimate. I feel he purposely misquoted just to get the job. The other bids I had were more in line with each other. Crest would have not gotten this job if they had quoted correctly. How do you miss an estimate by 25%? They did do a good job however on my roof.
