Jack King is top notch and very responsive. I have found them to be honest and reliable. Any problems that have come up have been addressed promptly. I dont know anything about pools and dont want to learn. I just want my pool open, ready to swim for my kids. We have security dog and they have been very good with her where other vendors have had problems.
Description of Work: Monthly maintenance. They have maintained our pool and its systems since we moved here.

Pretty much covered above. Overall good job with small issues that were cleared up satisfactorily. If you get a Pool from Cox I believe you will get a quality pool for a price you would expect for a quality job. No other way to look at it, quality has it's price. Pay the price and enjoy a pool that will last for a long time. As a steel contractor for 43 years I know people can buy a cheaper price than ours but the buildings we do such as a baseball stadium will last for 100 years. It needs to be done right because there will be thousands of visitors using our building for many years to come. Doing something worng and cutting corners is just out of the question, so I watched as these guys did their thing on my pool and saw right away they do it right and don't cut corners. Just make sure you know what's not in the price to get a completed pool and I think you will be very satisfied! Good luck!
Description of Work: The pool is being built to specs and with quality as expected. The price is high but worth the cost for a gunite pool. We are not done yet but the schedule is moving as I would have it for wintertime while trying to avoid the rains. The crew has worked well with us and those in the crews are experienced and professional. Cox uses some subcontractors who are not their employees but that simply means we are getting crews who do their trade every day and are good at what they do. Cox has a project manager who checks on the project often and asks if we need anything or have questions. The water circulation equipment has yet to go in and the pool has yet to finsih but so far I like what I see. I am a steel contractor with 43 years experience doing large arenas, hospitals, universities and office buildings and I know what quality and professional workmanship is supposed to look like. I see it in Cox Pools. This company had some poor reputation in previous years but the management changed and from the information I have learned and seen they are working hard to overcome the past. In a nutshell, if you want a pool that will function, done with quality, these are the guys. The price will high but when an investment is being made that is supposed o last as long as a pool, you get what you pay for. Make sure you find out what they intend to do with the dirt dug from the pool because I hauled it off for myself and saved a little but was told by one of the crews they normally spread it on the customer's property. I had 21 dump truck loads of red clay that I definitely would not want spread on my yard. Doing so would have eventually killed trees and made growing grass or anything else a difficult problem. Just go through each process of the building and make sure what you are and are not getting in your price. Who prepares the yard or site? You do unless you want them to find someone. Who removes the dirt? Again you unless you want to pay extra. Who does the electrical? Typically you. Who does the grounding system? You unless you pay for that. Who does the concrete deck? You unless you pay for their sub to do it which is typically the sub's number marked up. Cox is a good company but getting the pool in place is only part of the cost. My pool is $65,000 and I will spend another $10,000 for concrete, grounding, electrical and plumbing, not to mention, would have had to pay for dumping the 21 loads of dirt and site grading. Can't wait for summer!
