Overall it went lousy. First, the person who was supposed to move us, his truck broke down, can't fault them for that, it happens. The second person they sent was a day later than he was supposed to show up. Secondly we had to give him directions (not just the address but actual directions) to our appt in CA (we never had to do that before). They were over an hour late showing up on the 2nd day and got lost even though I gave them very good directions. During the packing one of the packers dropped something heavy on our kitchen counter and dented it and not only did not admit to it but tried to cover it up. We then had to give them directions to our new house which was in Tuscaloosa (their home state) and we barely knew how to get there. When they had arrived with our furniture, I noticed that they had severly damaged an antique Pie Safe which had been in my family for 150 years. I was practically in tears and the driver was not sympathetic at all. Luckily before they left I noticed something was missing. I had them check the truck and they found it. They would have left with our patio furntiture if I had not noticed. They were also late showing up to deliver the furniture. To top it off this was supposedly their "best" driver. I would hate to see thier worst. The only good thing I can say about the company was the sales person. He was helpful and friendly and responsive. He did arrange to get the pie safe fixed.
