He does hardwood refinishing.  He may do new floors as well but I didn't need him for that.  He emailed me and kept in touch with me.  He came up with the estimate which was very straight forward.  I had a lot of things going on.  I think it's a family business.  His mom probably called me to check how were things going and would it still look like it's going to be a couple of more weeks, which was tremendously helpful because I was juggling with so many projects at one time.  They were just nice.

I spent about $2500 on that work. I personally think that he should have taken more time because he was trying to do too much in one day. As a result he totally missed two steps, which meant that my husband was not able to get up to his bedroom and bathroom if I did not have it redone. When I called him and told him about it, I did not like their attitude because he asked if it was that bad. His attitude really irritated me. He said that he was coming on Sunday and I told him that he was not and I was so mad at him. I called one of the top rated companies on the list in the Birmingham area and had it done. I have three bathrooms and we could not get to either one of them, so we had to leave and go to a motel. I thought that his pricing was fine for what he was doing.

It was a wonderful experience. They showed up promptly and did exactly what they were supposed to do. It had rained that day, so they wanted to be really careful about any dust or anything settling because of the humidity. They would have had the job done in one day, but because of the weather and them not wanting to take any chances they had to come back the next day and finish. They really did a wonderful job.
