We wanted to have our old van repaired rather than buy a new vehicle since it has been well maintained and looks good inside and out. The first two garages we tried told us that they do not work on anything that old. Since Christian Brothers services classic cars we correctly guessed that they would be willing to fix the problem. It took a couple of days to find out what was wrong and obtain the parts but now the van runs better than it has in years. The staff at Christian brothers was very professional and kept us informed.

Friendly service, suggested some other items to be checked, but no pressure to get them done now.

Works great now. Everything went as planned and described.

Christian Brothers found the issue with our car and repaired it quickly and professionally. We needed brakes and also tires. They installed the brakes and even ordered and mounted the tires for us. It really is great to have a place that is honest and professional for auto service. They communicate during the entire process so they are no surprises when you pick up your car. I highly recommend them.

I'm impressed! This shop is run with professionalism and integrity. They had every opportunity to do more work than was needed and charge me more. I would have never known the difference. Instead, they explained to me the problem and provided me with some options. I was able to pay less then I expected and get the core issues with my care resolved. I recommend CBA to anyone.

I took my 04 F-150 to Christian Brothers for a spark plug change. Anyone who has a truck like mine knows about the spark plug issue. (due to a poor design, the spark plugs have a tendency to break in half when removed) As soon as I called to get a quote, I was sure they knew what they were doing. They told me they had done several of these engines, and had pretty good success, breaking anywhere from 0 plugs, up to 3. He quoted me the price, plus the cost for each plug that breaks. Both were very reasonable. I brought in the truck one morning, and by around 1:30, they were done. They were able to remove all plugs without breaking any. This was very surprising to me, because I was about 30k miles over the recommended spark plug change. Everyone was very friendly, and professional. I would definitely go back, and recommend them to anyone needing work.
I asked them to look into another issue (heated seats quit working), they looked at it, but the fix was going to require alot of wire tracing, and be much more labor than it was worth. However, there was no charge, and they called once they had an initial diagnosis.

I took my Explorer to Christian Brothers in Hoover, AL as a result of getting a very unreasonable estimate from the Goodyear Service Center I've used for years. Not knowing who else to trust to give me an honest estimate , I went online and joined Angie's List. As an Angie's member, I was able to review experiences other customers had with numerous auto service companies in my area. Of all the auto service companies listed, I noticed that (3) had excellent customer reviews regarding quality of work, cost of work, professional staff, etc., etc.. Of those three, Christian Brothers in Hoover, AL had the very best rating, so I decided to take my vehicle there. The minute I walked into their door, it was very clear that these guys were totally different than any other place I've taken my vehicle to before. They have a warm and spotless customer lounge, professional and courteous personnel, clean and organized shop, etc., etc. I explained to the owner (Brandon) what was going on with my Explorer's AC, and within minutes he had his techs run tests to verify what the problem was. The tests verified the same leak problem as the Goodyear store had told me. However, Brandon's estimate to fix the leak was $474.00., Goodyear's estimate was over TWICE as much - $1,020.00!! Of course, I told Brandon to move forward immediately with the repair, which he did, and had my Explorer's AC repaired and cooling better than ever, and exactly when he said that it would be ready. As a result of this fantastic experience, the first place I'll take any of my vehicles for service and repair from now on will be Christian Brothers Automotive in Hoover, AL.

They're just really good, I've taken my car up when I thought something was wrong with it, and they said there wasn't anything wrong with it, and didn't charge me. They're really good people.

I had my car towed to Christian Brothers because I had heard their ads on the radio. I figured they would be as honest and fair as anyone. I felt trapped once I got there. They told me the only option I had was for them to replace the broken part for $900-$1,000. The part did need to be replaced, but I was able to have someone else do it for much cheaper. They seemed honest, but more expensive than I was expecting and I felt like they were talking down to me the whole time.

Excellent. I am highly recommending Christian Brothers to anyone who is looking for honest, reliable work for a fair price.

Wonderful...even though they could not find the source of the problem. My advice is: avoid Chrysler at all costs!

They are nice, pleasant people. So far it is been okay getting an appointment. I asked for the Angie’s List discount which I think was $25 off and they honored that. I’ve only had very basic stuff done there but I’ve been happy with their service overall.

I looked them on your site and also heard them on a radio broadcast talking about their service which was the reason I chose them. They were good alternative to the dealership. They seemed like they really cared and they dropped off which was nice. They are fairly reasonably priced.

The owner, Brandon, took me back home after I dropped the car off to them. Steven called after they had diagnosed the problem and let me know what the repair cost would be. When the repair was done, I paid by phone and they left the cars in the car for me to pick it up that night. Overall, this is a squared-away outfit and I would recommend them to anyone. Professional and honest in every way.

My experience with Christian Bros was exceptional. Several of my friends raved about the service they received and now I understand why. You do have to call to make an appointment, but I am a planner, so this wasn't a problem for me. When I made my appointment I told them that I would use their shuttle to get to the office. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like their only customer. There were no lines or waiting. They checked me in, took the keys to my car and whisked me off into the shuttle to work. I asked them to inspect the brakes because they had been squeaking. The mechanic called me to let me know that my brakes were fine, but they needed to be treated which is covered under my cars warranty and the dealership would do it for free. They could've charged me for it, but I appreciate their honesty and integrity. When I saw my bill, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was about $20 cheaper than if I would've taken it to a popular chain and the service was unbeatable. I already have a convert. If you need auto work done, I would encourage you to use Christian Bros.

Their name describes their business. They are top notch, professional. I even had an issue with my car not starting, they diagnosed the problem for me and even though I did not buy a battery from them, they did not charge me for the diagnostic testing. A+ The cost includes repairing the transmission, replacing gaskets and a ton of work. To flush the transmission was $140.00, oil and filter change was $25.00.
