Cabinets To Go

Linn is great to work with at the Crestwood location. He helped with design and layout of the cabinets for my new kitchen. I would highly recommend this location!

I would purchase again.I do wish the soft close drawer slides didn't have a plastic rear mount,but apparently lots of them are.I'll see how they hold up.



The cabinets look nice,but they do take some time assembling.Helpful to have another person.



I will have to see how the cam locks hold up over time,being unfamiliar at all with them.



Overall,helpful staff.Their shipping times were accurate both times.They gave us no hassles about the damaged cabinets and fixed it.

I am still going through the process with them.  I have pictures of my kitchen because they did a bum job and they had a nasty attitude.  They hung the cabinets from the wall and not where they should be.  They fixed them but I had to have someone else come in and fix what they didn’t fix.  They just did nasty work; it wasn’t professional.  I went to them because I thought they were a reputable company.  I put my confidence in them; I was afraid to just go out and get anyone.  I thought by going with Cabinets To Go that I was doing something okay.  They measured my kitchen and did a layout of the kitchen but it wasn’t right; there were errors on it.  He asked me what I wanted and I paid for it.  He recommended the installer. When the installer came in to put the cabinets up, he didn’t do it right.  I had small cabinets and large cabinets that were wrong.  They just messed up my kitchen completely.  In May they finally came and fixed it but I had to have someone else come in to fix the wall.  They didn’t call me or do anything and it was so stressful to me. Now I have a cabinet that the hinge has come off of it.  I’m told I have to file a claim for that.  I have contacted them several times and I have even sent them a certified letter.  They told me that they weren’t doing anything else.  I contacted the company as well and they wanted me to email them pictures of the problems. I just had eye surgery and I can’t do that.  I would not use them and I would not recommend them.

Here's what happened: My salesman quit for personal reasons the week after my purchase. I received 4 shipments, 3 from UPS (1 didn't belong to me) and 1 from CGL (1 item from CGL didn't belong to me). I am currently waiting (today is March 7) for 3 additional shipments from UPS. 1 is a cabinet that has been on backorder and 2 are additional pieces I ordered a couple weeks ago that I agreed could wait and be shipped when the backordered cabinet came in. The putty and stain pen are still on backorder with no future date for availability.  The item numbers on the cabinet boxes do not match the numbers on the inventory list.  The cabinets are fairly easy to put together but there is no help if you have any questions and the guys at the store are pretty much useless.
I was never told about backorders. I have been lied to. I have been labeled a "nervous customer" by the store manager (Mike).  He has made derogatory statements to me and talked to me in condescending ways. I finally lost my patience with him and he started yelling at me on the phone. I could go on and on about this but the bottom line is, Cabinets To Go has a good product but I would never purchase from the Birmingham store until they resolve their personnel issues. I would order online or drive to Atlanta.
Word of advice: don't demo your existing kitchen until you receive everything you ordered or you too could be without a kitchen going on 6 weeks or longer just like me.
