Description of Work: My Dell laptop stopped booting up. Byte Size could not fix it, but they sent it out to be repaired. The same thing happened again a month later, but they fixed it again at no cost.

It went well from start to finish.
Description of Work: I did something "bad" to my laptop and it stopped working. Normally, I can find a way to fix it but not this time. I took it to Bytesize in the morning, explained the situation and by 4 p.m. they had everything working and back to normal. Great people, great service.

I took my computer to Bytesize, where I paid $55.00 for the problem to be diagnosed. Within 5 days, as stated when I took the computer in, a service technician phoned to inform me of the problem. The computer had a faulty stick of RAM. The representative informed me of cost of replacing the stick of RAM, and I agreed to go ahead with this process. The computer was available to be picked up the following day. The diagnostic fee was applied to the overall cost, which seemed a very reasonable way to conduct business. The computer is now working just fine. In general, I found the staff at Bytesize to be knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. I would recommend this company to others needing computer repairs.
Description of Work: The problem: my computer would not power on.

The technician, Gof, was very professional, excellent knowledge on computer problems. He had to make a trip back to the shop to get a new Ethernet card because he didn't have the right size with him, but did not charge for the trip. He was very pleasant, and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and skill.
Description of Work: The company performed an on site service. The DSL was not working after a storm. The technician said a power surge corrupted and disabled the Ethernet card. He replaced it, also installed new all-in-one printer, and resolved the DSL problem.
