"Client brought his desktop to me after Best Buy could not repair the unit. I told him I would give it my best shot and I would have to bill either way. For 16 hours more than one technician tried repairing clients computer. We tried approaching as if it was a hardware problem and the again as if it were a software problem. I came to the conclusion it was unrepairable. I personally gave said client the news he picked up the computer. I explained the unsuccessful resolution and did not ask him for payment. I did not charge him standard diagnostic fee or repair fee. Looking back regret taking the job in the first place, only because he left. You"
