Computer Sales
Early this year AT&T informed us our contract was about to expire and that we need to switch from PRI to fiber. I took this as an opportunity to shop around. Mike Schmidt, the owner of Beyond Computers and acting as a broker, proposed on behalf of Windstream for our phone and internet services. My research on Windstream indicated they had a spotty track record. Further, I got a better deal from a vendor within our building. I notified Mike of our decision. He not only failed to send me an acknowledgement or any kind of thank you for the opprotunity, but he sabotaged our cut-over by telling us that the phone system did not need any extra equipment in order to convert from PRI to fiber. More, I was told that they were no longer interested in acting as our NEC service provider, abandoning us at a crucial time. There are many details untold here, the bottomline: they are not reliable or professional.
