We get good service. They come almost all the time when called and they will come in the weekend too. They are friendly. They are considerate in things like taking their shoes off when they come into the house. They are bonded so I don’t ever worry about who is in the house. They are fairly honest and I believe them, if I don’t believe them, they don’t get upset when I say that I don’t want something done, and they are okay. I ask them if something has to be done immediately, they tell me if it has to be or if it can be done sometime later, and that I can wait if I want to. We have done that a couple of times and they don’t get mad at me. They really don’t put any pressure. They are probably a little more expensive than some of the other people in town but I know they are going to be there and are going to stand behind their work, because we have had them come back out for things that didn’t look right to me. They put in our air conditioning and our furnaces and whenever there is a problem, we call and they come immediately, they check them out, and fix them, so I can’t complain. They are good with their plumbing services as good as they are with the heating and air services.

I like them and I was favorably impressed. They told the truth and fixed it right. They basically did a repair when I had asked them to come and do a quote on replacement so that impressed me very favorably. I was favorably impressed.

They were very good. They were amazing. They were recommended. They were prompt and very professional. They completed the job and they cleaned up their mess. I didn't have any problems. There was no call back. Their punctuality was great.

The service tech, Nathan, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He covered his shoes when he entered my home. He was very respectful of my home and courteous. He showed me that he cared about his work and what he was there to do for me. He included and explained to me what he found and he took the steps to correct a couple of issues he found. One of the better experiences I've had with service calls in a long time.

Overall, I was impressed with the service and the technician.

Ice had formed on the unit. I called them at 9:30 in the morning and they were here by 10:30! We were leaving town the next morning for a week, so I especially appreciated they could repair it today and the house didn't need to sit and stay cold until my return. Jeremy was very polite and professional. He explained the problem to me and gave me the cost before performing the work. He had to leave to get the parts, and he was still done by noon.

Tried to take advantage of me.

Our A/C unit was out when we came home from vacation on a Sunday afternoon. I called 2 companies for a service call and one company wanted $290.00 just for the after hours call (not including any repairs) and Evans said they would only charge $89.00. I had heard good things about Evans so I went with them. They came out right away and diagnosed a burned out motor blower wheel. They were not able to fix it that day because the part was too large to be kept on the truck. They had to get one from a parts place the next day. I didn't feel like I needed a second opinion or estimate because I recently had the same issue with a rental property in another state and I knew how the system acted and how much the repair cost me there. Craig (the same serviceman that came out on Sunday), called me Monday morning with an estimate to do the repair. He said the charge would be $724.00 but that they would give me a credit for the $89 service call the day before and also a $50 gift card discount, making the total cost of the after hours call, the service call the next day and the parts and labor $674. He came out at 12:00 and took about 2 hours to complete the repair. He checked everything else on the system and all was running well. He also wore shoe covers every time he came inside the house, which I appreciated very much.

We have used them for a long time. They are a great company and do a wonderful job.

I had an area between two sprinkler control boxes in my front lawn that stayed muddy. One of the control boxes stayed fulll of water. I dipped the water and some of the mud out of that box and could see water running in from the direction of the pipe that connects the two control boxes I called Evans to send someone out to fix the leak and they told me he would be at my house before noon that day. Shortly before 1:00 P.M. I called back to Evans to see if anyone was going to show up. They said he would be at my house "soon". He arrived around 3:00 P.M. and I explained the problem to him as stated above. He looked at the water meter, which is located slightly uphill from the two control boxes and told me it couldn't be a water leak because the meter didn't indicate that any water was running. I told him I wanted him to check the pipe I suspected was leaking anyway, and he said OK. I went inside and a few minutes later he rang the doorbell, said there was no leak in the pipe. He said he thought there must be an underground spring causing the problem. He gave me a bill for $49.99, which I paid. I then called the water company, told them what the Evans repairman said and asked them to come out and make sure there was no leak. They came, told me a slow leak doesn't always register on the meter and stuck a probe in the ground near the area where the pipe that connects the two control boxes enters the box that stays full of water. They could hear a slow leak. They referred me to a local handyman who fixed the leak in less than 30 minutes. I've had NO water/mud problem since. I would NEVER call Evans again, for any repair. If they can't handle a simple PVC pipe leak I have absolutely no confidence in their expertise in any of the categories they service.

Evans services our unit and the unit worked properly for one week. Evans then refilled the unit three times to make sure that the unit was indeed bad and leaking. We were not out any money in doing this. This was a nice touch. Eventually the unit was determined to be leaking too bad to patch and needed replacement. After the determination was made, the unit was replaced on Tuesday following the last service call on Saturday night! A little more than expense than some of the cheaper HVAC companies, but the excellent customer service more than makes up for the price differential.

They were great. They were very professional. They were very prompt. We've used them before and they were terrific. Evans Services is very courteous. I would use them again in the future.

They gave us a free estimate. I have been very satisfied with them. I would recommend them family or friends.

They did a good job. It was wonderful. He was a master plumber. He walked in and saw right away what the problem was.

All employees very punctual. Work done in timely manner, and all questions answered well. Actual costs true to estimate. Pleased with work.

I am on an annual contract with them and they are great. They are prompt, do a good job and I will use them again in the future.

I came home with my family into our under house garage and smelled gas. While Evan's was responsive and the first to get a technician out, I really felt like we were gouged on the price. It was a $20 dollar part and took less than 20 mins to do. I would not use again

I had called a couple others from Angies List and was told it would be several days before they could come out due to heavy demand.This company accommodated me that afternoon, so probably have enough technicions to cover the most busy times.

The owner was very rude to me on the phone. They totally over charged me when I was already having a crisis. They moved out a washing machine, which I could have moved myself. They charged me $350 for to come here for less than an hour of work. They called another person in. I felt like it was absolutely absorbent especially after being treated so rudely. I called and it was an emergency at night. I told him I'd have someone else come and he said if I had someone else coming they weren't going to come. He was really hateful to me and I thought when you're having a crisis that was totally unnecessary. All they told me is that my washing machine over flowed and they moved it from my laundry room to my deck which is 2 feet. They called someone else to do that and I could have done that and I'm 60 years old. The guy who came out was professional, the man who treated me so rudely was not. I think they took me for a ride at a time when I needed to be treated nicely. I will never again use them in this lifetime. I've used them when I was in Delaware and I was happy with them then.

Dianostics was very quick and small pump replacement was also done very quickly. Technician was very professional.

After a cold spell after the holiday season we noticed water leaking in our basement from the main water pipe entering the house. We called Evans services who was extremely busy due to the holiday and multiple calls. They advised us to go a head a dig out the pipe ourselves to same money which we did. They then came and replaced the leaking pipe. They were knowledgeable and saved us some money. MY only complaint is it to took them longer than promised to reach us. (We had to cut the water off coming into the house). But this is understandable to the flood of calls after the holiday and a hard freeze.
