Ageless Restoration

They started all of this with a cold call to have us put on a new roof, which we declined; but they said they also did the siding, so we had them look at the siding.  They had another company call us.  The experience was good.  The girl who came out for the roofing had another man contact us about the siding and that happened right away.  He came out and looked at it the very next day, so all of that was very good; however, we really had no communication from him after that.  The next thing we knew that the subcontracted company's owner was calling us.  We had no idea of the Ageless Restoration about what the game plan was.  It was kind of frustrating and took us some minutes to figure that out.  They are definitely worst contacting.  They are just like any other company that one hire's or thinking about hiring where one has to stay on top of everything.

The whole process was a disaster from the beginning. The project was delayed for two days.  Hispanic roofers(one actually could speak English) showed up on time the first day but without clear knowledge of what the entire project included.  I had to be asked if the attic fan was supposed to be removed. The roofing team knew nothing about replacing damaged fascia boards. No one from Ageless Restorations showed up until we started calling them about work that was not being done when we felt it should be done. I had to personally be on the roof at least five times during the day to monitor work that was being done. I halted the process when I realized that new felting was being put on top of old felting without checking the decking boards. The old felting was then removed on the remaining decking EXCEPT for the area that already had the new felting attached above the old.  I asked why the fascia boards were not being repaired and the project manager said that someone else would come back to do that work.  I also asked why the drip edge was not being replaced before the new shingles went on and I was told that the old drip edge was in good shape and they were just going to leave it on. Fast-forward after an excruciating week of problems. My husband and I do have new fascia boards and drip edge but at the cost of torn and/or unattached starter shingles on a brand new roof.  The perimeter of the roof looks terrible because the work was not done by professionals who could insure aesthetics and durability. Ageless Restorations was much more concerned with doing the minimal amount of work in the shortest amount of time. The "owner" made lots of apologies and promises and placed much of the blame on the project manager.  We were lead to believe that this project manager no longer worked for the company until days later when he returned to our home to assist another carpenter in TRYING to attach a section of drip edge. I suspect this is a well-rehearsed tactic when a customer becomes unsatisfied with a project. These two men started the company together. There were several other incidences not mentioned that aided in our dissatisfaction of Ageless Restoration. Bottom line is that we would not recommend this company to do any roofing work. They advertise as being on Angie's List  and currently they are not the list.

Mr. Adam Farley who is the Field Claims Manager for Ageless came to our door inquiring about the  wind and hail damage that he saw on our roof. My wife, who never goes to the door for strangers, invited Adam in to speak with us about this.
 We knew we had trouble with our roof since we had been dealing with persistent problems over several years.  In our attempts to find a solution for our roof issues, we had five different roofing companies do " work " for us.  Needless to say, our roof still leaked and our ceiling  and walls became an even greater frustration.
Adam did an extensive look see and contacted his manager and company owner, Paul Krugman.  Paul and Adam scoured the roof, discussed in great detail the complexity of our issues and what it would take to permanently fix the problem.  We immediately felt we were working with experts who took their job seriously.  We contacted our insurance co., made the claim and waited for the dreaded adjustor.  Paul and Adam were both present and on the roof with the adjustor for over an hour.  The end result was that the insurance company paid for all the work, a new roof and extensive inside repair.  Even the insurance co. recognized they were dealing with roofing experts with a sound plan for addressing a long standing problem.
The roofing crew was incredible.  Our foreman was Santos and he was on our roof all day, every day with his men.  They were highly organized and efficient.  More than that, they had a smile and a greeting even for our curious ten year old grandson.
We had such a sense of confidence in Paul and this company, we wanted his interior crew to complete our inside walls and ceiling.  Once again, Ageless, to the rescue.  Believe it or not, a crew tearing out walls and ceiling can be a pleasant experience! Ed is the true craftsman and the end result is awesome!
'Hard to believe  the level of confidence that Paul, Adam, Santos and Ed. and the entire Ageless staff have given us during this construction process.  Just can't say enough good things about this company!!

Good!!!!

My 80 year old mother had roof damage after the recent storms.  She's very leery of insurance companies and contractors, however, the claims specialist from Ageless Exteriors put her at ease and answered her questions in detail.  They handled the claim from start to finish and were there every step of the way to get a new roof and gutters installed.  Appreciated their professionalism and thoroughness and would definitely use them again

This was my first experience in dealing with insurance company adjustor for damage to my home, and I can honestly say that after I contacted Ageless Exterior, the pressure was off me and they handled the claim, installation of the roof etc., from beginning to finish. I dealt with their Claims Specialist, Jim Browning, who immediately accessed the damage and worked with my insurance company.  The claim was processed efficiently and Mr Browning was very prompt in answering any questions I had during the process and very courteous and thorough in following up with me and my insurance adjustor. Their crew came out and showed much professionalism with the whole process, even providing a dumpster onsite for all the old roofing, etc to be disposed into, which impressed me!  The roof was actually finished in a day and there was no mess left in my yard, or around my property.  Yay!  Having little ones at my home, that was a definite plus to have the clean up process for no nails, etc to cause injury. Overall, this was a good experience handled promptly, with the stress taken off me, and I wouldn't hesitate to use Ageless Exteriors again.  It was a definite plus to me that they seem to be a 'one stop shop', not just for roofing or renovations, but also quality folks who know what they're doing and treated me with respect.
