Jeff did an outstanding job on our new addition.
He was very professional and courteous. He was always prompt and cleaned up before leaving.
All of their work looks amazing! We have had previous drywall and painting done by others but Jeff's Drywall has been the best contractor we have worked with and the finished product is by far the best of quality.
We will definitely be calling him for future projects and have already recommended him to friends and family.
I don't even know where to begin. Jeff came to give us a price on some sheetrock work. We told him we were about to have some painting done as well. He said that his crew also paints, and asked to give a price on both. We agreed. That's when the nightmare began.....to say that they did a HORRIBLE job is actually putting it nicely. Every bit of sheetrock they "repaired" ended up either not even being fixed, or having something new wrong with it after they "repaired" it. Example: Sloppy sheet rock putty, not sanding properly, etc. Almost all of it had to be done twice.
Then the painting. It was an even worse job than the sheetrock! You can see lines in ALL of the trimwork. Looks like they used a very hard brush to trim with. There are runs on many of the corners, and stroke marks on almost all of the walls. There were many little flaws in sheet rock that needed spackling from the years of wear. This is what a painter does to prep the room before painting. They didnt fix ANY of them - just brushed right over them, knowing that they could see them. In hindsight, I think they were possibly sheetrockers, but not painters AT ALL. They even painted over unsanded putty!
My husband took off work for 2 days to be there while they were working, as well as his normal Friday off. Each evening we had to go through and mark places with chalk that had to be fixed and repainted. We feel as though a professional painter would fix flaws (noticable flaws) as they go. Again, you should not be able to see all of the stroke marks on the trim! I will give them credit for attempting to fix their mishaps, but for everyone they fixed, another was made. On the last day, my husband was just ready to get them out of our house!! They should be embarrassed by the amount of money they took from us for the quality of work that they did. On top of everything, they asked to use my husband's ladder!!! GOOD LUCK to anyone else that chooses to use them.
I have never left a bad review for anyone, but this one is well deserved.
Jeff was very professional, easy to reach, and personable. He worked around my schedule, his estimate was lower than the other one I'd sought, and he did not go over the estimate. I am very pleased with the quality of his work and will call him again for my next project.
Now you must know that my garage was FULL of junk--furniture, glassware, clothes, Christmas stuff, you name it. Jeff's guys never complained, but moved it carefully outside while they worked, brought it in the first night, and moved it back out the next day while they completed the job. They treated my junk like it was pure gold---nothing broken or marked. I had two huge shelves going up to my garage ceiling (about 16 feet) full of boxed stuff, which they removed and painted behind. Super meticulous and they did it on their own, because I wasn't there most of the time they were working.
They could just have easily rushed through the job, but they clearly are conscientious and take pride in their work--even in my tragic garage. He even notice that my light fixture was ruined and offered to put up a new one for me.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Jeff and his crew to any Angie's List user for a job, big or small.
Told us what they were going to do.
We ask them to come back and fix a couple things and told clean up some messes they left.
Won't use again.
