Sonny came right away quoted and did not ask for money up front. Very easy going! Did a simple contract. Very pleasant. Still working for us! I would recommend him over All I have been interviewed.

He talked a good game and bragged on himself but did not complete tasks. He kept going up on the price but would not provide proof of cost. He did not provide any proof of supplies. He texted me filthy language. He has not finished the job and is asking for more money than what was agreed upon.

"It's hard to find good help these days," as the cliche' goes, but Ivan "Sonny" Shipp is one of those rare examples of "good help." Sonny demo'd and rebuilt a set of stairs and landing coming down from a high veranda for us. He showed up when he said he would, started working the minute he got there and worked the whole time. He analyzed the job to plan it and then constantly reassessed to make adjustments as work proceeded. He explained his plan before he started, answered questions along the way and worked with me on minor changes once the project started. He kept the work site clean during and after the work. Excellent pricing, professional, competent...I enthusiastically recommend him and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Sonny arrived on time for the estimate when we set up. Arrived within the time frame set for the project. Completed the gutter cleaning and installation of leaf blockers within a short time period. I was pleased with the quality of the work preformed. I will contact Sonny on future projects. I asked Sonny about the installation of a tank-less gas water heater and he told me he was not qualified to do the project. I thank him for not taking advantaged of me.

Very pleasant individual to work with and the price was definitely in a fair range. He went above and beyond on a couple of other things while he was here. Not only did he repair my door, he fixed a post in my fence and he nailed some trim for me in the kitchen. Hard working individual who is not afraid to get his hands dirty! I highly recommend him!!!!

He will be here Sat. the 29th to start projects. Our first meeting was excellent and I was very comfortable with him and his professionalism,he listened to my list of "honey do" projects and made suggestions that I approved of. Very pleased with Sonny and will comment more once we get started.
