We hired Klein Pluming for replacing faucets in our guest and master bathrooms. We
had bought a tub and shower trim kit, garden bathtub faucet, shower trim kit,
and three bathroom sink faucets from Amazon. Due to the number of fixtures, we
decided to hire Klein Plumbing to exchange out all of the bathtub and shower
faucets. We had the intentions of replacing the three vanity sink faucets
on our own since we knew that it was an easy task. When the plumber got
there in the morning, he immediately identified that I had ordered the
wrong trim for the valves we had so he wouldn't be able to change any of it out.
I had used Klein plumbing several times before and knew that they
charged for the first hour no matter what, so I figured that since he was there he
might as well quickly change out the sink faucets. We had already
started to uninstall one (we needed to buy a tool to finish), and it was a very
basic installation that needed to be done. The
faucets that we were replacing were only
about 15 years old and in good shape (not rusted or difficult to take off). Additionally, the faucets we ordered (Moen) had tons of
reviews about how easy they were to install and how it took the purchasers 10
minutes to install. Well over three hours later he was done. Granted, he
did have to go get longer supply lines which took about 30 minutes, but the time
still doesn?t add up to the task. While he was doing the installation I
kept wondering what was taking so long - he wasn't done with
the one faucet that was partially uninstalled until two hours
in. When I received the bill for $377 dollars I was blown away. I would have been
better off to pay them $94 to do no work. After I got the bill, I called
numerous times trying to speak with someone. Each time they said
someone would call me back, but they never did. Finally, after a couple of
months, I got ahold of one of the office managers and explained the
situation. They said they would call back. Instead I just received another bill in the
mail with $47 dollars knocked off. Needless to say, I will not be
using Klein Plumbing again.

Excellent! When he arrived I showed him where the new toilet was and where it was going and he went right to work. During his time in our home I hardly heard a thing except maybe for the door opening and closing when he had to go outside. I went to inspect his work thinking I would see an empty space where the old toilet was. Instead, there sat the new toilet fully installed. In fact I teased the installed I did not hear any choice words coming out of the bathroom but of course that is only if I would have tried to install it.
For the record the plumber was to be at our house at 8am and ended up be late. I received a call shortly after 8am from the office saying he would be late because he had been dispatched to a broken pipe call earlier that morning. It happened to drop below freezing in our area that night which is not normal. When he was done with that emergency dispatch, I received another call advising he was on his way.

My husband and I were happy with the promptness with which they responded to our call. (They came the same day we called.) I was impressed that they were able to locate an old 'cleanout' and by raising it and replacing the busted piece of cast iron pipe, they were able to make use of it. We were also happy with the work they did, and we thought the price they charged for parts and labor was fair. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to our family and friends.

Blake dug a deep 8 ft hole.Found and marked the Leaky pipe. Turned the water off at the street. Cut a piece of the pipe where the leak was. Then sawed the root that was 3 in. thick. He glued a and quot;Cand quot; section to the pipe after removing the leaky part. He explained that would give the pipe more room in case the root grows back.

Klein Plumbing Inc was recommended to me by my hardware store. The technician that came was smart and though not very experienced with our electric waterless tank heater, but he figured it out. The first guy that came out wasn't very good, but the second one was fine.

They fixed it and it was a big job. As far as I know, they did a good job. I can't check myself under my crawlspace that it was a good job, but I trust them. I have thought about hiring them again. They did okay.

I had previously bought almost all the supplies necessary to do the job beause my nephew volunteered; but when the job became complicated and his life got more busy, he didn't have time to to it. The Klein employees used the parts I had bought without my asking them to, in order to save me money, There was only one part I didn't have, that cost about $1.00. The labor charge was the minimum charge for any call - $99.00. There were two men on the call and they worked together well and finished the job quickly. Before they left, one of them asked if he could use the toilet, which I thought was funny. Because there had not been water in the toilet for so long, there was a bad smell in the house and I told them right away I was afraid there was a broken pipe under the house; an unscrupulous person could have gone a long way with this, but they just explained that anytime there was no water in the line it allowed the smell of the sewer to come up the pipe and into the house, and that it would go away as soon as they got the toilet fixed.
