Description of Work: I've rented from First Realty a property in Auburn since 2003. Today I noticed that a rent check hadn't cleared when it should have. I contacted them today and found that they have lost my check but won't admit it. So I have had to pay for a late fee and a "convenience fee" for paying over the phone. This was a mistake that I had to catch and they never called me to tell me they had not received a payment. In the Six years I have rented with them I have never ever been late on my rent and have most often always been early. They would not admit they lost the check. But this is just one of many problems I have had with them. When it comes to fixing things that break they are very slow (most often 2 days wait) for them to get someone else out to fix whatever it is (A/C, water heater broken front and back doors, appliance issues). Many of these tasks I have had to take on myself and at my own expense in order to resolve. Last year I was broken into and my front door was destroyed. I had no way to lock and secure the front door. It took Richard Walker 3 days to get a door man out to replace my door and after much heated discussion and broken promises over the phone. All these issues while every year my rent rises with every sign of a new lease agreement.
