Stan was the only cabinet shop who was willing to take on a small project. He built a custom farmhouse sink cabinet to match my existing cabinets. He came to my house twice and was responsive to my calls and text. Stan is honest, trustworthy, and a wonderful person. He also let me bring a reclaimed butcher block counter top from my old kitchen to his shop so it could be sanded. I highly recommend Stan and his workmanship.

We underwent a complete kitchen remodel as a result of a water intrusion issue. Initially, we were going to repair and reuse the existing cabinets. However, after meeting with Stan, we decided that installing new cabinets would be more cost-effective and also improve the functionality of the kitchen. Stan's workmanship was outstanding, as is his customer service. Most people don't have a comprehensive understanding of cabinetry and the options that are available today. Stan patiently stepped us through the entire process, introducing various options and explaining the positives and negatives of each. He spent many hours working the design with my wife and testing various finishes and hardware. As a result, we have an elegant, unique solution that is also very affordable. We removed an oversized island that was a bottleneck to traffic flow in the kitchen and added a 90 degree extensions to the original design. We now have a kitchen that flows better, provides more counter space, more storage, and it has allowed my wife to add a coffee bar. We are delighted with our new cabinets and feel that they have transformed our home. We definitely plan to use Stan again, and he has our highest recommendation!

Stan Tucker constructed a new, wonderful and stylish 3/4" solid maple hardwood kitchen for us. He worked with us on the planning and made many major recommendations to the design which greatly improved our original ideas/design. He helped us with the ordering of countertops from Natural Stone Concepts and obtaining 8 stained glass door inserts for cabinets from stained glass artist Clara Watkins. Stan worked out a perfect design for our kitchen. He made and installed our kitchen cabinets and they look great. Exactly what I pictured in my mind! He makes a quality product and is very easy to work with.

It went well, done in a timely manner

Stan did great work we have an older home, which had a partially remodeled kitchen but the drawers were terrible. Stan was able to build new drawers and install new ball bearing rails while using the existing drawers faces. This was a great economical solution that prevented us from having to spend a fortune to get a functioning kitchen. He is a master at his craft and I will definitely use him again for future projects.

On either side of our mantel was an awkward 32x20x96"dead space that for years was the home to  simple free standing cabinets.   With a baby on the way my wife and I knew we needed more covered storage space but also wanted some open shelving to continue displaying the pictures that we had on top of the free standing cabinets.  These is where Stan came in, he set up an appointment 2 days after we initially spoke so that he could see the space and get a few ideas.  

When the appointed time came Stan was on time and ready to go.  He spent a few minutes measuring the area and then spent the next 30 minutes talking with my wife and I about ideas.  We really had no idea exactly what we wanted the cabinets to look like but he was able to listen to our wants and needs and come up with a perfect design.  After about 30 mins or so he left with his measurements saying he would make a drawing and be back in touch in a few days.   

A few days later I received an email with a picture showing a design that met all the needs we had and looked fantastic.   Once we gave him the thumbs up it took about 2 weeks for the cabinets to be built and installed.   During that time my wife visited his shop to see the cabinets being made, pick out door handles and the type of doors we wanted.   About a week into the build I changed the depth of the cabinets and Stan was able to make it happen without any problems.   

Once the cabinets were finished, he was able to schedule a time to install the cabinets that worked with my schedule.   He showed up promptly and completed the install in a few hours cleaning up after himself when he left.   The cabinets turned out better then I could have hoped and everyone who has seen them comments on how great they look and that they look like the house was designed with them originally.

Working with Stan was an absolute pleasure, he was able to figure out what we wanted and needed without us not even knowing what we wanted.   The quality of the cabinets is top notch and I would gladly recommend him to anyone that needs cabinets in the future.  

This was just a great experience.  Stan did things that went beyond the building and installation of the cabinets.  He helped tweak the final design layout, recommended subs (who were as professional and reasonably priced as he was) and coordinated efforts so that the whole process was smooth and painless.
The cabinets themselves are top quality through and through.  Stan and his crew also dealt beautifully with my 100 year old house, meaning that when nothing around them is square, or level, or plumb your cabinets will be!
It is also worth noting that all work and pricing are discussed up front and in detail.  No surprises here.  He doesn't know it yet but Stan will be back to do a couple of additional cabinets before long.

He was very quality oriented and full of suggestions on how best to make our cabinets really look great in our English Tudor house being remodeled. He was almost always prompt and called whenever he was unable to meet an agreed time. I would strongly recommend him for getting new cabinets without any hassles as well as make the process enjoyable. I plan on having Stan also do some bathroom and laundry room cabinets in the future.

Stan and his crew performed an excellent job and we are extremely pleased. He designed the built-in shelves and cabinets to our specifications and worked with a challenging leveling problem in the room. The units are of excellent quality and reasonably priced. He even obtained the color paint finish I requested. He was very professional and honest in all of our meetings. I was able to visit his workshop where he explained his design and building process and had examples of his work. He also recommended an electrician to move electrical sockets in the units. We would highly recommend Stan for any cabinet project.

Stan built and installed custom cabinets in our study.  He completed design work in a couple of visits, built the cabinets, and then installed them in one day. Very convenient.

Very professional. He listened to what I wanted, made useful suggestions, and built my dream kitchen. His team is efficient and they cleaned up after themselves. Stan is well known with other types of contractors you may need such as Sheetrock work, plumbing, and electrical work. The work went smoothly and like clockwork until it came to getting a template and installation of my countertops. This, if course, was out of Stan's hands, but he did make a phone call and things turned around quickly. He takes excellent care of his customers.

Stan and his team are outstanding craftsmans.  We went to his shop and saw all the great tools and processes they use to create very professional craftmanship items made of differenct kinds of wood.  I would use Tucker cabinets again for any wood project i needed.

It was  small job.  I called Stan and 2 others to get quotes.  Of the three that came out, Stan was the only one to call me back with  quote.  He recommended a person for counter tops that we were pleased with their job also.  I wanted to stain the cabinets to match other wood in the bar.  He made a cabinets and had some great suggestions that utilized the space better than the cabinets there were taken out. His follow up and attention to detail were great.  Stan is a very personable and easy person to work with.

Stan did an excellent job and I am extremely pleased with the job. He made suggestions on how to make the cabinet which was extremely helpful to me. He was very professional but very easy to talk too. You just got the feeling that you were working with an very honest person. He explained all of the options and invited us to his workshop to see the cabinet in progress. He came when he said he would or he called to let you know what was going on. I got his name from Angie's list and I couldn't be happier.

We had an unfortunate and sneaky leak from our dishwasher that completely destroyed the end cabinet that was right next to it. based on the reviews here at Angie's List I called Tucker Cabinets.  Stan came to our house, gave us an estimate, and removed the damaged cabinet. It took some time to get the new cabinet built and stained to match the rest of our cabinets but it was worth the wait. Once installed, it made our kitchen whole again and we couldn't be more pleased. He even suggested a new configuration (which was 4 drawers before) to the cabinet containing one small drawer at the top and a larger "cookie sheet" drawer on the bottom that actually looks like a cabinet door. Very cool! Now I don't have to find inventive ways to cram big cookie sheets at odd angles in other areas of my kitchen.  Stan was very professional and pleasant the entire time we worked with him. I would highly recommend him for all cabinetry work large or small. 

I just love the work that he provided. He made our bookcase almost the length of the wall it is on. I couldn't have bought a bookcase that size for under $5000 so I'm very happy with the work he has done. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

II called Stan Tucker and he returned my call the same day.  He recommended that we look at his website to get ideas of what he does.  He came out to the house to talk to us about what we wanted and brought some samples. After telling him what we wanted, he made some recommendations that made more sense than what we were planning.   He took measurements and drew up plans back at the shop.  We finalized the design and he built the cabinets quickly and installed them.  We were completely satisfied with his work.  He is a really nice guy too!
