It was excellent. They came out did my estimate, we signed the paperwork, they came our promptly and replaced my roof. They were very professional and with all the recent storms I haven't found any leaks. I can't say enough good things about working with this company.

The Mexican work crew used by Southern arrived on time and worked continuously finishing the job in about three days. They failed to install the ridge vents properly and after consulting with their supervisor they corrected the problem right away. When finished they cleaned up nicely. After initial inspection it appeared they did a good job even though there were several and quot;bulgesand quot; on my roof that I was assured would settle down as the sun would heat the roof and would flatten it naturally. Well several months passed and the and quot;bulgesand quot; didn't go away I also noticed that roof flashing was poorly or not installed. Turned out they didn't replace some of the roof wood sheating, which was part of the contract to do, and simply ignored the existing flashing.

Three months prior to the warranty expiration, I contacted Lowe's, who used Southern Roofing as their install vendor, to complain about Southerns' shoddy workmanship and they corrected the problems to my satisfaction.

They are excellent. They do very professional work. They are reliable and affordable.

They had B rating. They had a coupon which offered additional free shingle upgrading. I had spoken to seven other roofers. Liaza does the talking and the billing. He came out personally and met the time line; which a lot of them were late or didn't show up. He met my estimate request. He was able to squeeze in the timeframe that I wanted. My roof is steep and some of them wanted to charge extra for that and they didn't. That's the reason I went with them. I didn't have a great experience overall with them. They addressed every problem that I had. Some of the problem took a long time to get started, weather was understandable. They took up a larger job than mine in the middle of the schedule so I kind of got irritated. Each time the middle guy would call me and tell me where they were. I was never in the dark whole time. Even one time the shingles showed up the wrong color. I called them and they replaced it the very next day. You don't deal with one person, you deal with several phases. You deal with the initial contact person. Liaza was the contact person who contracted out for the seven roofing. Whenever you have an issue you always had to talk to him. So the actual roofer was not him at all. They were two days longer than expected in the actual installation. They didn't clean up as much as I would have liked. I had to call up Liaza and pick up some issues. The biggest problem is that I'm not 100% sure that the roof is great; you never know that until time goes on. I see it through my vernaculars and can see a pucker here and there. I called them again after completion of the work. They sent out another contractor and that is the third group of people. It was just one person and his job was to walk around and fix any issue which he saw; which four person standing on the ground, you can't really know except for a bubble. They came on a Sunday morning. That means any issue that I had, should be stated, which I can't say was handled. This was really hard for me. They responded when I called them. I would probably not use them in the future.

The crew took about two and a half days to perform the work, including removing all debris. All work was done quickly and to our satisfaction. It did take a while before the crew could get to us.
