As a landscaping company I am not sure they passed Landscaping 101.  Overall lot was poorly prepared to receive sod; sod was of poor quality filled with weeds.  The yard/lot was not level by any measure of a reasonable person’s judgment.  Construction material was buried in the yard and flower beds to the point plants were dying.  I had to redo the beds less than eight months later.  Additionally, we were having problems with erosion to the point it was washing out some of our fence post. When I addressed these issues with prime contractor, he would send the subcontractor to argue that he fulfilled the terms of the contract.  In short nothing was accomplished without a fight. L & K Landscaping did perform 60% of requested repairs with the lease amount of cost to the company and maxim amount of discomfort for us.  If you like working with landscapers who have little pride in their work, cut corners, are more interested in money than doing the job right; always required a fight to get anything accomplish, these guys are for you.
