Ted's Abbey Carpet & Floor

Sharon Rutherford was wonderful to work with!  She drove to our rental house and brought a nice sampling of hardwood floor and tile selections for  us to choose from.  She was very flexible and accomodating with our healthy house specifications and never gave us a hard time about our need for healthy products for our new home as she was always ready and willing to get us an answer to our many questions.  We truly appreciated this about her.  The Abbey Carpet & Flooring in Birmingham also helped me out by providing me with samples from their showroom.  We were able to hang onto the samples for a while to help with matching them to other items on the interior of our home.  Sharon's granite company came in the lowest price out of three different granite companies that we got estimates from and they did a terrific job with the granite.  We appreciated that Ivan sent the granite samples out to our building biologist to be tested (all which came back within normal limits on radiation).  Sharon's hardwood flooring installers from Abbey Carpet &  Floors did a fantastic job too and were very nice to work with!  The hardwood  floors look gorgeous!  We aren't used to the floating floors in the basement because they make a bit more noise than the main floor hardwoods but still look very nice.  I'm not sure of the total price for all of the hardwoods, tile, and granite as the builder took care of this, but Sharon helped us to stay within budget.  She was great at helping us with all of our many selections and we are quite pleased to have all hardwoods and tiles in our healthy house.  They look fabulous and are very durable!
