Where do I even begin? This was a disaster from start to finish. After Mr. Roberson came out to give his estimate, we agreed on a date for him to come out and begin the work. On the pre-arranged day, I waited patiently for him to show up. Finally, some time late that afternoon, I called to see why he hadn't come. It sounded as if I woke him up, and he told me that he would have to come out the following day. He did manage to show up, but he didn't get to my house until around 2:30 in the afternoon. After a couple of hours of work, he left. He came back the following day (around 11 am) and while he was digging with his giant machine, managed to break the water line leading to my house. Not only was it broken, but it had pulled the pipe loose and broken the connection to the actual water meter. We called the water company and had them come out to fix where it was broken at the meter. While waiting for the water company to show up, he and his helper went to lunch. For 2 1/2 hours. When he and his helper got back from their leisurely lunch break. He fixed his end and was finally able to continue what he had originally set out to do. We weren't sure if he was going to have to seal the wall or not and it turned out that it did after all need to be sealed. Unfortunatly he failed to tell me before he sealed it that he was going to charge me an additional $550 to do so. Because of all of the trouble, he agreed to come back later to cut some wood for me. It has been nearly 3 weeks and he hasn't shown up, nor will he return my calls. On top of all of this, the water is still coming into my basement. I think it may actually be even worse than it was before. I would not wish this kind of service or headache on anyone. I will not ever use his services (and I use that word very loosely) again or recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: A French drain was installed and the section of the wall that was underground was sealed to keep water from entering my basement.
