Express Oil has a reputation for fast, reliable service; they proved no different when I took my '67 Mustang there last month. I've always changed the oil (and almost everything else) myself, but time and oil change due dates have a tendency to sneak up on me. The crew at Express Oil on McClelland Blvd did not bat an eye when I pulled up in the 'stang. I'm not sure how many people take vintage vehicles there, but they didn't even stop to wonder if the parts they needed were in - they just got to work. I have also always liked the fact that they pay a little more attention to your vehicle there, including spraying the door hinges with WD-40, filling the wiper fluid reservior, etc.
The one thing that has always bothered me about Express Oil is that you never really know how much you're going to pay until the work is done and they ask for payment. Example - My wife took our SUV there a few months ago and paid almost $70 for an oil and filter change with very little explanation. I understand there are caveats to their advertised prices (SUVs, etc); however, it seems like their could be a better system for pricing. The same applies for disposal fees, etc.
Regardless, the staff are well-trained and I always leave Express knowing that the job was done the right way.
